The printhead appeared used, in a plastic box that was leaking ink, and when I put it in my printer, it didn’t work. So yeah, 1 star I guess? This is some shady business. Do not buy!

Received faster than expected. Yet, installation failed. Replaced an old printhead with this product and it caused cartridge failure on printer. I changed all cartridges with new ones and printhead still does not function. The printhead sound like it has a loose part inside. Started return process.This faulty product has put me behind in my productivity.

This product did not hold up… the original print head lasted 7 years, this one only 3 months.I went to print after 2 weeks was the last time and I had a printer head error. Hum, I pop open the side panel of my printer and the yellow cartridge is popped out. I attempt to re-seat it. No dice. I take all the cartridges out and look inside the unit and the guide pin/retainer is broken for the yellow cartridge. Looking it over closely it appears the plastic was a diffrent color more translucent than the rest. I don’t know if it was rebuilt with inferior parts or what, but sadly you get what you pay for.If we had never tried to save a few bucks getting refilled cartridges this thing would’ve printed forever. So sad to waste this much on a part to repair a amazing printer.No way to contact seller as it’s past return period.

I could not get this to work in my printer. It fit and I got it installed ok but the printer did not recognize it and would not print. Returned it and bought a new printer

I’ve had my HP 8600 printer since 2012 with no issues for my small travel agency. And yet these last few weeks, finding the 950/951 XL ink cartridges was an issue. Per the recommendation from a HP Tech rep in BestBuy – consider either cleaning or replacing the printer head or buy a whole new printer. Well this unit and the replacement ink were well worth the price. INSTRUCTION RECOMMENDATION – follow the instructions from the HP.com tech support on the proper way to remove and install the printer head.UPDATE: Printed 2 pages and it stop working. .. Ink cartridge error and I missed the return window. It’s a shame the overall condition of the printer is excellent. Buying a new printer.
