It would be nice if it would include instructions. Fortunately I was able to find the instructions on the internet, but would have just been nice to have these in the package. I installed and the gauge still seems jumpy. Not sure if it’s a problem with the sensor or my adjustment. Still working on it. Will update if I figure it out.

Amazing what one little thing can do! The product is solid and well made. The way my dryer is engineered, I only had to remove the front panel, reach in unhindge the belt, remove just the pulley and reinstall. It fixed my dryer’s squeakiness. Very interesting how the old pulley was worn out.

My dryer stopped working and after taking it apart I discovered that I needed to buy a new pulley. Thankfully I was able to find exactly what I needed right here on Amazon. I was skeptical at first not knowing if it would work but what did I have to lose? A couple dollars right?! Well 3 months later my dryer is still going strong! It works exactly like it should and actually better! The dryer was very loud before and I had no idea why .. after putting this on it’s quite and works like a champ! I really didn’t want to buy a new dryer if I could fix it . This is definitely quality and gets the job done. It was an easy fix didn’t have any issues installing it. If your looking here to get one don’t hesitate to buy it! It works!

Initially I thought that the metal bearing was too small. It took a little muscle and some machine oil to get it on. I have a 4 year old Whirlpool dryer that had a horrible squealing idler wheel. Most reviewers will tell you to assemble from the back of the dryer but it is possible to do it from the front. I have zero experience replacing this part. Watched a YouTube video and got it done from the front. I took advantage of having the dryer open and disassembled the lint trap and vacuumed it out. Replacing this part from the front is a lot by feel (not by sight) but if you have a mechanical brain you can figure it out and you don’t have to detach a gas line and dryer venting. I am a small person 5’2″ and my reach was still long enough. Dryer is whisper quiet again.
