I have a very very sensitive scalp, and low porosity, 2c/3a hair thats fairly thin and very dense. This gave me good moisture that did not weigh me down, but compared to the “knot today” from aunt jackies I usually use, i needed to use ALOT of product. But the moisture did penetrate deeper and not leave a sticky residue or any buildup.I ended up mixing this with jojoba oil and using it as a leave on under a cap for like an hour and my hair has never been that soft.My biggest qualm with this and honestly every shea moisture product is that the fragrance is SO heavy. Fragrance is a really bad irritant that can mess your skin up, give you allergic contact dermatitis and even sensitize you to other products over time.People act like essential oils are better for this but… essential oils are VERY concentrated volatile oils and you should not ever apply them directly to your skin. People act like natural unprocessed ingredients are always better. Y’all there are natural things that would have no problem killing you and penicillin isn’t exactly natural.I did not realize how much fragrance was in this product until i used it and ladies it’s alot. Fragrance really shouldn’t be listed as a main ingredient. I wish they had other options. The conditioner seems to work ok as i rinse some out and apply it to my hair not my skin, but whenever i use shea moisture shampoo it eventually breaks my scalp out into a rash and it’s not fun. Sometimes i even get breakouts along my scalp from the shampoo because it’s basically just parfum with some mild cleansers in it.They make the stuff that works the best for my hair but it always smells SO freaking intense and breaks my scalp out and that’s just such a bummer. Also shea moisture actually seems like a really nice ethical company, and i wish they made safer products for people with sensitive skin so i could actually buy from them instead of all these other beauty companies that sell progressivism and use women and the idea of helping the environment as an advertisement but buy ingredients linked to the slave trade, sell skin lightening cream in other countries, and have a rainforests worth of palm oil in every plastic bottle.Sorry for going off like that about conditioner but it’s not really just conditioner. My products arrived on time and were as advertised.I wouldn’t recommend this if you have kinky curls or coils, but thinner curls and waves like mine would probably do well with this product.

Great conditioner, no itchy scalp like the ones with dimethicone. My hair is soft and manageable, scent is nice. I’m so glad I finally found a conditioner that works without any harsh chemicals.

Coconut shampoo n conditioner are fine but my hair still sheds even when not combing or being touched. I just usually see hair strands hanging

Needed this product for my hair for a wedding tomorrow, and when they arrived the pump was cracked just leaking product! Even tho most of the stuff could be saved the box was still covered in conditioner and the pumps are broken! Not pleased at all .

I feel like I need 12-15 pumps to lather my long hair. I wouldn’t recommend this for longer hair

Our top choice for both of my son’s hair. Incredibly repairing and moisturizing. They have medium to tight long curls and are half Caucasian and half Ghanian.

I’ve been looking for a conditioner that is rich but also rinses well. I found it. I also love the fragrance – and even use it as shaving cream.

This is one of my favorite conditioners and it leaves a great feel and scent in my curly hair. I always can’t wait to use it and it leaves a look in my hair that is shiny and full of life. Also love the coconut oil aspect of this conditioner because it is very hydrating and moisturizing.another conditioner/shampoo product from Sheamoisture that I love is this hibiscus curl and shine hair care.https://amzn.to/4afy181I find that these leave just as good of results and would highly recommend them.

I have now purchased my fourth bottle of shampoo. I am 73 years old and was losing a lot of hair, but since I’ve been using this product for over a year I do not get a handful of hair out of my comb every day like I did before I started using this product. It improved the texture and look of my hair. Best shampoo I have ever used.

I’ve tried many brands to save my hair in an area where the water quality was poor. Luckily I found this one. My hair feels much better than before, and not oily at all. It doesn’t feel like the silicone attached to your hair but very easy to comb

We have ordered the 34 ounce size Shea Butter Moisturizing Conditioner with coconut oil 5 times in a year, including for other family members. It really helps hydrate curls without leaving them feeling heavy nor looking frizzy. The product is great and the shipment comes fast. The only downside is the first three times we ordered it, it came 2 in a pack for the same approximate $27, but the last two times we only received one in a pack for about the same price despite the seller still advertising the 34 oz as a 2-pack. So that makes the cost 50% higher, not lower. It would be nice to continue receiving a discount on a 34-ounce 2-pack because we go through it so quickly. A. little of the product does go a long way, but not when multiple people are using the same bottle.

So moisturizing without being heavy. Perfect for my 2c wavy curly hair. Great value, lasts longer than most conditioners I’ve used. My hair feels soft and I think it looks good. Detangles well and smells light and coconutty, without lingering too much
