I RARELY BUY GREEN FRAGRANCES… I’m afraid i’ll get a grassy or a pine scent … but something about these little pine-cone grenades intrigued me, so i ordered 2 of them (perfect gentleman and deep charisma) what a revelation. Amazing, sophisticated, well balanced, resulting in instant compliments. truly unlike anything i’ve ever had/smelled , which is a big plus for me. this one is a little more subtle than the others, sweet and herb-ee, makes me think of a pistachio desert. try this one, you will not regret it !! the plastic topped bottles are suspect, but who cares when it smells this good..

No leaks great replacement to faulty plastic design. Would have been 5 stars if the oil pressure sensor was not defective. Had to tear into upper intake and replace defective sensor. Other than that no leaks so far after a few weeks. Time will tell if it will hold up better than plastic.

Updated details: Seller contacted me and provided a partial refund for the trouble of having to replace the o-rings. I did not contact the seller, they were proactive and contacted me without solicitation for an update to the review. For that reason I added a star. Now, 2 months after install the upgraded cast part has held up well with no leaks. So bag for your buck this is the way to go. Save yourself $200-300 off the OEM part this one will do the job just fine.Original ReviewProduct was a perfect fit and nice upgrade from the plastic oil filter housing for a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country. Poor rating was because the one of the 5 o-rings on the bottom (which are not standard sizes and are specific to this unit) we’re slightly damaged just enough that they wouldn’t hold to the oil pressure and I had to scavenge new Mopar ones from another automotive shop for $22 plus travel. Overall the part is good. Just make sure those orings are perfect and undamaged because you’ll end up doing it over again and when you have to drain all your fluids every time and buy new, it’s a horrible experience. I did like that it was cast and that it came with a new filter inside and oil filter cap.

This part was a bit more expensive then some of the plastic or other no name brand equivalents, but Dorman is a well known brand do I didn’t mind. The part was all aluminum instead of plastic like OEM and came with all gaskets and an orange cap to let you know it’s an upgraded part and which specific filter you need to use. It came with a filter and all instructions for mounting and torque specs too. Installation was super easy, I watched a video on YouTube as well. Was a replacement for my 2013 Dodge grand caravan that was leaking oil. Was able to install in an afternoon an no more leaks. Definitely better quality then plastic part. Am 100% satisfied with this product. Hopefully don’t have to worry about it again.

I finally got the dreaded oil cooler failure on the 3.6..I bought this because the aluminum seemed like a good idea and worth the money. It fit perfectly and the installation was easy after I pumped out the giant mess from the stock one failing..prep and going slow and proper torque is paramount to this repair going well and lasting..

My wife’s jeep with the 3.6 L developed the oil cooler oil leak after 115,000 miles. I saw previously this Dorman unit that’s an aluminum instead of instead of welded plastic and it just seemed like a more durable option to me. Installing it is a pain, but that has nothing to do with the oil cooler itself position on the motor. So far it has worked perfectly. Knock on wood, It will continue to do so. Though it’s only been a couple months, I see no reason to not recommend this part.

I saw a similar oil filter adaptor on a YouTube video and decided to replace my plastic oil filter adaptor just because. I am very glad I did. When I got down to removing the plastic adaptor I found it had been replaced before and it was beginning to fail and leak again. It was not serious yet, but it was on its way out. This aluminum replacement should end that problem in the future. One note: The screws, both on the one I replaced and the one I installed, are made of soft aluminum. Be very careful when tightening them down. They will not take much torque before stripping the torx heads. I had to drive a small regular socket onto the bolt heads to remove them from the plastic filter and stripped one during installation. The metal is very soft.
