Replaced the one on my 93 mercury 115 that was bad. So far it is working great.

Used on 1986 mercury 60 HP. I was experiencing 17-18 volts from the original rectifier and decided to give this a shot. A little bit of a challenge to find a place to mount it since it’s about twice the size of the rectifier. Ended up cutting and making new connections. Not the greatest wiring explanation for an older system. The (yellow, black and gray) stator connection, ground and RPM was simple enough. The two red connectors caused a little confusion. Ignition had no power. Ended up soldering a union to connect all four red wires. Seems to be working great and now seeing 13 volts being fed to the batteries. Problem solved for now.

I put this on My 115 horsepower Mercury out board, that has never ever charged while I owned it for 12 years. I charges great now. I waited a year to review it to make sure I give the part a chance to shoe me it was good long term and it hasn’t let me down. at some point I will probably buy another as a back up, but at this point I feel comfortable with this part.

This rectifier / regulator is working and giving 14.2v with engine running at 2500 – 3000 rpm. Only ran for a few minutes so we shall see how it works on the lake. The leads were too short so had to splice, solder, and heat shrink the connections.
