This fit and was nicely made. It arrived on time. The only very slight comment is that the chain adjusting screw was a little sticky at first, likely because the item had been powder coated prior to the screw being inserted. The chain brake had not been working on the original part but when this one went one – btw it is shipped in the locked position so you will have to remove the front handle to unlock it before installation – it worked perfectly.
John –
It was like for like. Straight forward install. Works just like the first day I bought the lawn mower.
Wendy –
Fast easy install.
Gregory E. –
Easy to install and did add washers on both sides of the wheel as the axel had worn down.

I purchased this shaver for my husband. His review follows. The Braun 3040s is a competent shaver and gets the job done. However, it is inferior to nearly 30-yr old Braun technology, i.e., the Braun system 1-2-3 cl3525 shaver, also designated as 5567U, which I purchased in 1995. (Braun’s use of multiple product numbers and designations is very confusing!) I recently purchased the 3040 since my 5567 will not last forever. I’ve had the 5567 repaired a number of times over the years: new batteries, multiple repairs of the pop-up trimmer, replacement of a cracked gasket, and even a new case since the rubber nibs had worn off. Unfortunately, the locally owned shaver repair shop that serviced it over the years has now gone out of business. Through it all, the 5567 has been an excellent shaver, small, lightweight, reasonably quick, fairly quiet, cleanly shaves my beard in the areas on my face where the hairs lay flat against my skin (i.e., use of the pop-up trimmer), and the battery keeps its charge for at least a week’s worth of shaves. I routinely charge it weekly, when I also scrupulously clean it with a brush, compressed air, and then lubricate it.I purchased the new Braun 3040s because of my history with Braun, my preference for foil shavers, and since their shavers get good ratings. Also, I needed a new shaver since, as I said, mine is not going to last forever. I selected the 3040s since I didn’t need all the bells and whistles of the more expensive Brauns, and with respect to the pivoting shaver head on the more expensive models, I can see no value in it. As a customer with an engineering background the pivoting shaver head looks like it ups the cost and complexity of the shaver and does little or nothing to improve the shave. It seems to me that a good shave is all about the foil and conforming to my face. The swivel head seems like a problem and would potentially limit the force and control I have with a fixed head; in fact, one reviewer on Amazon said as much.Another feature I don’t like on the current Brauns, except for the M90 (see below), is that they now have a double foil with a blade arrangement between. Again, I fail to see the value and prefer the simple single foil arrangement in my old 5567.The new 3040 is disappointing. It is larger and heavier, the head is too big to easily fit between my mustache and nose, it runs at a higher speed and so is buzzier and more annoying, and the positioning and location of the pop-up trimmer on the shaver makes it work less well that the one on the 5567. Apparently, there is a version that comes with a locking foil-retraction feature for one of the foils, that would make it easier to position under my nose, but according to Braun that is not available in the U.S. It also takes me longer to shave with the 3040 than with my older 5567, and even though the battery is newer technology I barely get a week out of a full charge, less than I get with my 5567. Perhaps that is because the shaves take longer. On the plus side, even though larger, it feels good in the hand.Another disadvantage of the 3040 due to its buzzier/louder noise level than the 5567, is that the motor/foil noise masks the sound of my whiskers being cut, a decided disadvantage. With the 5567 I can clearly hear the difference between the foil cutting beard, vs. cutting on shaved skin. It makes it easy, without always having to run my fingers over my beard, to know when an area has been cut adequately clean. It is amazing to me that 30 years of shaver research has seemingly been unable to produce a razor that works any better than 1990s technology, and in fact in some ways is inferior. I wish Braun would tell the product guys to bring back the simple 5567 with the only needed improvement being a more durable mechanism for the pop-up trimmer. That would be fabulous. It is a pity to see “advancements” that in fact, are no advancements at all in terms of performance. Perhaps Braun’s one shaver “advancement” has been reducing costs. I paid $60 for the 3040 on Amazon, which is exactly what I paid for the 5567 back in 1995. But the inflation-adjusted price of the 5567 would be about $114 in 2022. So, Braun has succeeded in keeping costs down. However, I would rather pay more and get the quality product, or at least have that as an option. As a side note, I did also purchase a Braun M90 just to give it a try, since it is a single-foil design like the 5567. It is less expensive than the 3040, but unfortunately does not have a rechargeable battery. It is nice and small and I do prefer it to the 3040, but I have not used it extensively. It is, however, still not as good as the venerable 5567.To qualify the beard that is being used to assess the shavers, see the attached photos. I have to shave daily, not because my growth is that thick, but because many of my hairs grow parallel to my skin’s surface and I am prone to in-grown hairs if I do tend to them on a daily basis.

After owning multiple Series 3, 5, 7, and 9 series Braun shavers, I wanted a replacement travel shaver for my aging Series 3. I love the Series 7 shavers but after breaking 2 of them I went with a Series 9 for my everyday at-home shave. The 9 is a good shaver with a giant shaving head but the trimmer is small and clumsy. The Series 3 has the best trimmer of the bunch.I have owned the older style Series 5 which eventually broke the trimmer. This new model 5 has a nice size and shape and is small enough for travel. It has a travel lock so the motor won’t turn on, but the head protection for the fragile foil cutters is poor and falls off easily. I resorted to a rubber band to keep the foil shield in place. Battery life is excellent – I got about 3 weeks before the battery dropped to 1 out of 3 dots, so no need to bring the charger on most of my trips. It shaves quick, but not quite as quick as my model 9. The other annoyance is the lack of a built-in sideburn trimmer. You have to pop the Series 5 head off and attach the trimmer attachment. Not too convenient for travel. I also like the easy cleaning without removing the shaver head. After owning for about 2 months now and taking it on a 3 week trip I’m overall happy with the shaver and will retire my reliable Series 3 shaver I have always used for travel.

Bought to replace a 15 year old norelco rotary blade shaver that was getting weak. Used the Braun for the first time after a quick charge out of the box. Without a doubt it shaved closer to the skin than my norelco ever did. Wasn’t sure about switching to a foil blade but it felt much closer to a traditional razor shave than the 3 head norelco rotary. Had to stretch skin and go over jawline and neck a few times but that’s par for the course. Honestly a very close shave, I think as close as you can get to a manual razor. And I did it dry, looking forward to trying a wet shave.Precision trimmer wasn’t as close as the main foil shave but it does the trick. Not too much of a pain to change heads. I do grow beards sometimes so also looking forward to trying out the beard trimmers that came with it down the road. Also may get the body trimmer add on. I like that this Braun series has the option to purchase attachments separately.Just got it but from all accounts 2-3 week battery life off one charge is expected and more than enough for most scenarios. It charged very quickly too. All in all it was a much closer shave in less time, so I’m happy with the upgrade and glad I finally decided to get a new shaver!

I was in love with my Braun Series 5 many years ago, and that razor lasted many, many years. When it finally failed, I followed the recommendation of Consumer Reports and replaced it with the Series 7 790cc. It was a very good razor, but I never liked it as much as my Series 5. It seems I had to work a bit harder to get my shave. Another problem was that the Clean & Renew fluid seemed to make the finish bubble, then peel on the Series 7. But, of course, I got used to that razor, and when it began to fail, I bought another two of them…so I’d have one in reserve when the other failed. The same bubbling and peeling happened on those, too. Those two razors are pretty old now, and it’s time to replace their screen cassettes once again…and the price of those has really gone up. And the price of Clean & Renew cartridges has really gone up. I decided to buy the Series 3 3040 wet & dry. And it turns out I love it like I loved my old Series 5. It works wet or dry…although I use it dry. Screen cassettes are less expensive. There is no cleaning station…I simply rinse the razor and screen under warm tap water after each shave, and put a little light oil on the screen and trimmer once a week or so. It just does the job, and gives me a very, very close shave.

Does your toddler eat these like they are going out of style? Same here, ordering these through Amazon is so easy and they are exactly the same ones as Target or Costco but you don’t have to leave the house. We are on box number 5 and so far they have all been fresh, expiration dates are very far out, no weird packages or discolorations. Also very happy because both flavors are available most of the time (blue package and purple package). I hate going to two different store to pick up each flavor. Life Saver!

This electric shaver was about $80 on Amazon. It’s easy to clean, and you can use water to help clean the elements. I keep the shaver plugged in when not in use. When fully charged, the shaver shows two horizontal green lights on. I have found that most of the time, as soon as I unplug and start the shaver, one of the two horizontal battery-status lights flashes the entire time I’m shaving. This flashing indicates to me that the battery is not fully charged. The outlet I use works fine with other plug-in items. This issue doesn’t affect the subjective experience of shaving, and I am able successfully to complete my shave without further change in the indicator lights. However, this feature worries me to some extent, and that’s why I give battery life only 3 stars and the overall rating 4 stars.

These are great little fruit snacks. I purchased them to hand out at Halloween but my husband and I liked them, too. They taste great and the packages I received were fresh. The packages are a nice size for a child’s lunch box. Will definitely purchase these again in the future!

The last Braun I has lasted almost 10 years so when it stopped working this was the logical replacement. Very happy with the battery life, the versatility of the included trimmer attachments. And this is by far the easiest to clean shaver I have ever owned. If I was to get this as a gift I’d be thrilled!!

My kids love these, and they are a far better option than many other sugary treats. Whenever our youngest gets hangry, we throw her a bag, and she shuts up. It’s fantastic! She’s not obese or juiced up on sugar all day, but she has her moments. Especially good during long car rides (for kids).

This set is fantastic, it’s a wonderful display piece, a great design to fiddle with, and extremely detailed. People can access the rooms to place minifigures in, it even allows you to remove the top of the tree to have easier access, you can use a crank device to move some crates with objects, swing characters in the swing, and switch out the green leaves with yellow, and orange/red to capture the fall look. The price is under it’s retail value, and is actually cheaper than other third party selling sites, and with a piece count of 3,036, the set really packs a lot. The minifigure selection isn’t great, it could’ve used some more to be honest, and they are very bland. Otherwise, the set is great.

I can’t find anything to not like about these fruit snacks. The portion size is perfect if you just want a taste of something sweet or if you aren’t looking to fully sugar up your kids. The flavor is exactly what you want and expect from a “fruit snack” vs a “gummy” candy. Get ’em! Your kids (even the grown up ones) will love them!

Parts look good but there is a catch. The new cylinder comes with a tapped port for a decompression valve and no plug. I dont mind the idea of having a decompression valve but it wont fit in my machine and now i have to shop for an extra piece that I cant identify because its not in my parts book.Just a little inconvenient and a hold up to getting my Chain Saw repaired

I bought this for my husband since I caught him inspecting it at the store. He loved it! One of the best treehouse lego sets out there! It was also shipped fast and arrived in good shape.
Skyelander –
Yes….I bought these for myself. No, I didn’t plan on sharing…. But the nephews love them so I sacrificed some of the snacks. These are so good! The portions are tiny but maybe that is someone trying to tell me something…Anywho, if you like fruit snacks, you will probably like these.

This was such a fun build! This was my first lego splurge, and it was well worth it. Such a detailed and enjoyable project, it was hard to force myself not to build it all in one day, I was so excited to see the final product!

These gummies have really good flavor. I like that they have added vitamins and are healthier than other gummies. The size of the packs are just right. There’sa good portion of gummies but it also helps with portion control. I have reordered them several times.

I used this for a stationary bike a diamontback 510ic. It worked fine perfect the only reason why I don’t rate this product 5 stars is because I haven’t experience the durability of it. Saved time and money.

It seems like food that is easy to eat plus tastes good plus is healthy would be too good to be true. They do cost more compared to candy, but they taste just as good, plus I feel healthy after I eat these.Same for the other varieties. I still eat them at home today, because they seem good for me.

We bought this to replace the cord for a heating inversion table we found on the curb, lol. It works perfect! The only critique?? It’s a little short so we’re having to use an extension cord. Other than that, great!

The price is right and the taste is outstanding. Welch’s Fruit Snacks are good for lunch boxes and after school snacks.

Threaded hole takes a M10x1.00 bolt. Have only ran the saw after rebuilding for 30 mins or so but it now has 150# of compression and runs great! I would recommend to other buyers. I will buy again for other saws if I need them.

I used this in a very old craftsman 3/4 hp cap start motor from a jointer planner. Installed in place of the old flat box 300mfad cap. Worked like a charm, but it doesn’t fit inside the casting anymore…no big deal

The clutch tensioner was busted on my redmax and this fixed it no problem! Oem fitment too!
