About a year ago I came to the conclusion that my old brand of hand lotion (Vaseline Intensive Care) just wasn’t working for me anymore, so I went looking for a better one. I tested about a dozen different brands, from drugstores to specialty shops at the mall. This one was the hands-down winner (pardon the pun), for the following reasons:-light texture (NOT greasy), with nearly instantaneous absorption into the skin-long-lasting moisturizing effect (when I put it on at night, my hands still feel smooth in the morning; some other brands didn’t last more than an hour or two before my hands started feeling dry and rough again)-light, pleasant lemon-cream scent-because you need only a pea-sized amount, the tube lasts a surprisingly long timeThe only negative I can find is that the sole online retailer charges a high price for shipping, relative to the size and price of the item.

Found this hand lotion while traveling in Italy. Great for nails and hands. Great scent. Vendor responsive and efficient. It’s the only hand lotion that keeps my unpolished nails and cuticles looking good.

Why is it that so many hand creams have such strong odors? I am not allergic to anything, but dislike perfumes in detergent or lotions. I have been using the L’Herbolerio for a LONG time. Years ago I had to order from some place in the Mall of Prussia! So glad it is still available!
