When reading a book by Dr. Phil’s wife:Â What’s Age Got to Do with It?: Living Your Healthiest and Happiest Life , I noted that she used the “Opal” Lip glace by Laura Mercier. I put it in my shopping cart but waited for months to buy it. I was mostly waiting to use up my other lip glosses. What I’ve been using before includes: Philosophy Vanilla Birthday Cake Lip Shine Jason’s Temptations Moisturizing Lip TintRimmel’s Pink Vinyl GlossAll of these are great and last fairly well but when compared to Laura Mercier’s Glace they fall short. None of the products I mention last as long as the glace. It definitely has more staying power. I may be imagining things but my lips also look a bit fuller while wearing this product. The gloss is also very moisturizing.I tried this gloss/glace over lipstick and it works very well to almost “set” the lipstick in place so it lasts longer. It is not however heavy or sticky. The “lilac” shade is not really lilac but more of a pink with a delicate shimmer. It looks much darker in the tube!If there are any negatives about the product it might be the slightly sweet caramel scent. You might like it. I don’t mind it at all and don’t really notice it after a few minutes.One of the good things about this product is that it is NOT tested on animals and it is made in America! So if you are looking for a new lip gloss give this a try. I think you will really like how long it lasts.~The Rebecca Review

After looking for years for the best lip gloss/ lipstick I’ve finally found it. This wonderful long lasting amazing lip gloss is the perfect lip color. I love how it’s not sticky, long lasting and the perfect amount of color on the lips. I’ve been buying these for a few years now and pray they never ever go out of business. Wear it alone, with lip liner and with lipstick. Ether way it’s beautiful. A must have for anyone. During a work day I only had to apply twice.
