I bought after hours, there color swatch is so far off! but I knew that after reading reviews at another site. the color is like Nars turkish delight. Its med pigmented, and its a very light pink, I would say its the color of baby pink. I love it, I mellows out the color of my dark red lips. It smells great, but the feeling is amazing! Its so smooth and non-sticky, I am a gloss junky, and have everything from Nars which I hate, to smashbox and dior which I love, yet never have I came across a texture like this. This is by far the smoothest gloss ever. I am blown away by how it feels and seems to sink into your lips. Its not super glossy, which I love, it has shine, but nothing crazy like MAC. I know its a lot of money, but really truly this is the best I have found. I am young so my lips are rather full so I dont have problems with gloss, but I would assume even ladies with thin, lined lips cold wear this cause it sinks in more then it sits on top of the lips. Its still a gloss so every three hrs. you still need to apply it.

When reading a book by Dr. Phil’s wife:Â What’s Age Got to Do with It?: Living Your Healthiest and Happiest Life , I noted that she used the “Opal” Lip glace by Laura Mercier. I put it in my shopping cart but waited for months to buy it. I was mostly waiting to use up my other lip glosses. What I’ve been using before includes: Philosophy Vanilla Birthday Cake Lip Shine Jason’s Temptations Moisturizing Lip TintRimmel’s Pink Vinyl GlossAll of these are great and last fairly well but when compared to Laura Mercier’s Glace they fall short. None of the products I mention last as long as the glace. It definitely has more staying power. I may be imagining things but my lips also look a bit fuller while wearing this product. The gloss is also very moisturizing.I tried this gloss/glace over lipstick and it works very well to almost “set” the lipstick in place so it lasts longer. It is not however heavy or sticky. The “lilac” shade is not really lilac but more of a pink with a delicate shimmer. It looks much darker in the tube!If there are any negatives about the product it might be the slightly sweet caramel scent. You might like it. I don’t mind it at all and don’t really notice it after a few minutes. One of the good things about this product is that it is NOT tested on animals and it is made in America! So if you are looking for a new lip gloss give this a try. I think you will really like how long it lasts.~The Rebecca Review

I purchased 4 colors and here is how they compare:Blush: Does not look like the photograph. I thought it was a orange pink from the photo but not at all. This color is very similar to the opal but has more pink and appears to be mauve in the container. At first, I could not tell it apart from the Opal but under the light I noticed that It does not contain any sparkle/glitter and has more pink. It is semi-sheer and can be applied alone for slightly pink color or over a lipstick. Light vanilla scent.OPAL: Does look like the photo. Opal has less pink and a bit of apricot compared to the Blush color and it has a bit of sparkle/glitter. It has barely any color to it and would work alone or with any color lipstick. Semi-sheer light apricot- pink. Light vanilla scentRose: Semi sheer to full cover but has the most color of these 3. It will definitely add a very versatile rich raspberry pink color to your lips and would probably suit anyone’s skin tone. It adds enough color to enhance natural lip color but not appear as a full coverage lipstick. If you’re looking for a gloss to use alone that adds color, the Rose is perfect.Nectar: I purchased this color at another store as a sample but wanted to provide a description. In the tube it appears orange with a touch of pink – I guess it’s a light coral which is what I wanted. On the applicator, it looks more orange. It has no shimmer and it goes on semi-sheer BUT looks very light and unnatural on my lips- hideous, actually. I can’t wear this alone because it’s way too light for my darker splotchy lips so, will have to use it with a lipstick. Stay away from this if you have naturally tan/darker lips. The outline of my lips was way too dark for this gloss. I wonder if BELLINI would work for me?I have olive skin, dark brown hair and eyes. I really love the Rose because I can just use it alone and it looks so natural. It’s going to become my all purpose gloss for any occasion and I will keep a tube in my purse at all times.

First time to purchase Laura Mercier Lip Glace and very happy I did. Really good texture (not too sticky, yet not too thin) and the shine is just a nice light glow. This Blush shade is also great for my skin tone – and my daughter (who is less pale than me) also loves it – so I bought one for her also. It’s good.
