I have temperamental, curly, frizzy hair. Just this summer, I discovered CHI shampoo. My hairdresser used it on me, and when she was done, I asked, “What did you put in my hair? This stuff is amazing.”She showed me the bottle, and I immediately went online to order some for myself. I ordered two bottles of the shampoo and two of the conditioner. My husband has even commented on how soft my hair is now. And it makes my blown-out styles have a bit more control/less frizz.Is it miraculous? No. But it’s an excellent tool in the fight for manageable, soft hair for those of us with dry-dry-super-dry, tends-to-frizz hair (like I do).I’m glad they have a subscription feature. I’m about to sign up for it. :)Please note: When you wash with this, your hair will NOT squeak. If you don’t think your hair is clean unless it squeaks, re-evaluate. This cleans very nicely, but more importantly, doesn’t dry out or strip. It takes a tad bit of getting used to (the way it still feels “oiled” or “creamed” in the shower), but it’s an adjustment worth the effort.Note for the sensitive: I am very sensitive, allergy-and-dermatitis prone, and this shampoo has not caused any itching or break-outs. Although the silk leave-in products from CHI do clog my pores, but that’s just the same as BioSilk (a great defrizzer that also makes me break out a bit around the hairline/chin).Mir

I love love love this shampoo. After reading a review from someone who has similar hair like myself, I decided to give it a try. Because I am African-American with relaxed 4a/b hair, I always look for moisturizing shampoos. Out of all of the different brands of shampoos that I’ve tried, that claim to be moisturizing, this is one of, if not the best!!! It is very moisturizing and detangling, which is very important for my dry hair which tends to tangle when I shampoo. The only downside is the fact that it TRULY smells like men’s cologne. But for the results I get, I can tolerate it. It’s very creamy and doesn’t lather a lot which I don’t mind..for me too much lather equals tangles. So for those who have dry hair, you should definitely give this a try.

I took a chance and ordered this shampoo. My hair is dry, thin and mostly straight. I like how it feels and looks after using this shampoo. The scent is not offensive in any way – kind of a clean fragrance and very mild. I was more concerned about it making my hair dry or frizzy and that did NOT happen. I will buy this again. I’m happy to give it 5 stars.

A little background: I was bedridden for 8 straight months and when I started walking again, I came to realize that my hair had taken a few hits. I have very fine hair and used to have a lot of it. Suddenly, my hair had a horrible case of split ends, dry, and thinning. I used this shampoo and its respective conditioner and trust me: this is a wonderful hair care product. Highly recommended.

My five star rating is based on the product – NOT the packaging. I’ll explain that later.The product is amazing. I have baby fine hair, and the products I end up having to use for volume tend to dry it out. This product does NOT do that. It stays silky while having loads of volume. Not to mention the scent – I love, love, love the scent. I also use this in conjunction with the Chi Silk Infusion. I love it.The packaging though… something to be desired. The bottle is huge so it makes sense to have pumps on them, of course – but pumps that actually FIT would be outstanding. I’ve posted two pictures. The clear pumps come taped to the bottles. The black pumps are from my empty Hempz shampoo/conditioner bottles. You can see that the neck from the Chi bottles are much longer. They do not fit the bottle, but luckily my Hempz pumps do, so I got lucky. I can see how folks on here are very frustrated with that.I never review products on things other than PRODUCT, so that’s why I give Chi S/C 5 stars.

Absolutely love this product. I don’t know what or why it took me so long to try this. But I’ll never use anything else, when it comes specifically to the shampoo/conditioner and the thermal protective treatment. I have dry coarse color treated hair. And have tried so many other products. This by far is hands down the best. In my opinion moisturizing, value for money and scent get 5 stars from me. It came in on time. Nothing was missing or broken. Thank you CHI.

this is my absolute favorite shampoo to use. leaves my hair feeling super soft, has a really nice clean smell that lasts for a long time without being overpowering, gives a nice full lather first try no matter how dirty or oily my hair gets but NEVER makes my hair feel dry or stripped. it’s just really really nice. it’s also free of any sulfates or parabens as well as being cruelty free. would highly recommend.
