I had to replace my old dryer broken belt and it did the job for me, only snaped out once, i learned if the belt feels tight dont turn the drum by hand , let it adjust to its work spot. This is an update: the belt had broken off again in a months time. Root of the problem was the pulley on the motor was worn and slipping constantly burning down the belt.

Great parts at a much better price than your local parts store! Also, if you need only ONE of these parts, BUY THIS KIT. The reason is, these parts wear out after the same amount of use. So, replacing them all at the same time (while you have the machine disassembled) is better that having to make another repair a few months later when the next part wears out.

After replacing the dryer belt and the old drum support rollers with the parts in this repair kit, I hand-turned the drum two full revolutions to assure that all rotating components – drum, rollers, drive belt and tensioner – were aligned with the motor and turning freely. I re-verified that the drive belt was properly installed on the motor drive pully. I then started the dryer with an empty drum and let it run for about 5 minutes to assure that all was well. The dryer worked well with medium and full loads for a week, after which I heard a thumping sound. Upon taking the dryer apart I found that the rubber “tire” had broken off both of the support rollers, (see picture) and that excessie wear had occurred to the drive belt. I inspected the “groove” on the drum where the drum rides on the rollers to see if there was a problem (sharp edge, crimped side, etc.) and the groove checked out OK.
