Dry Texturizing Hairspray , 2.1 Oz

UPDATE: The bottle has become easier to spray, possibly because there’s less product in it now? But now that I’ve used it a few times, this stuff is pretty great.*It smells better than the Garnier stuff (but still smells. Why? Why can’t we get products like this unscented? I hate smelling fake florals everytime I turn my head).*This is probably not news to people who are familiar with different styling products, but it is like some weird dry shampoo/ hairspray hybrid that sticks to each individual hair. It actually does what it says: gives my slippery fine hair texture and volume. It’s so weird when a beauty product does what it says it will.*It lasts a long time. It doesn’t seem to come out with brushing or sleeping. But I can brush my hair and it remains effective.*It works better than the many dry shampoos I have tried. There is no visible residue, it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky, it controls oil as well or better than the standard powder formulas I have tried (batiste, Aveda, etc).*It also gives me the occasional cystic acne on my neck, but basically all products that have ‘particles’ do that. If you are prone to that, then you can add this to the list of things that will probably do that. It’s still worth it.Original review:The product itself seems interesting. It’s the first texturizer I’ve used and it does seem to provide volume in fine straightish hair in an interesting way that allows brushing and movement, lasts for a long time, and keeps the oil down.That being said, I had to hold the can in two hands and press down with a finger from each hand in order to get any product out of the can. This was on first use, so there was no possible clogging from prior use. The dispenser top is ridiculously stiff and hard to press down. As a result, I wasn’t able to apply the product as precisely as I wanted, because I had to use both hands just to dispense it in the general direction of my head. Maybe the larger bottle is less poorly manufactured?For this amount of money, it should dispense easily and flawlessly with the use of one average human hand. I suggest they spend a tiny portion of their profit on a better dispenser.

This is the best texture spray I have ever used if you have fine hair.

I love this product. I spray it on after drying my hair and it provides great texture and volume to my hair. The scent is wonderful.

This beats out any dry shampoo, cheap or pricey. It adds a huge boost of volume without making my hair feel crunchy. It gives a little hold, but not a ton, making it perfect for blow out waves. My favorite thing about it though is the smell because it matches my perfume. I wear Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and Light Blue Italian Love, and it always irks me how my other products, especially hair products, smell so different. The mash up of scents drives my nose up the wall. I couldn’t believe how close this stuff matched — so between the performance and the smell, I’m sold on this as my staple!

I did a lot of research before buying this product and have tried everything to get my hair some texture and volume where it would actually hold a hair style. I have never been able to curl or style my hair where it didn’t fall flat like 15 minutes later until this spray. It has a pleasant smell and doesn’t make your hair crunchy like normal hairspray. I sprayed on before curling my hair for a wedding and the curls held for over 6 hours, I couldn’t believe it. Can no longer live without this spray!

This is a bit pricey but I do like it. It definitely gives you that extra body or if you like a piecey almost frizzy look you can achieve that with it also. Your hair will fall uniform again but you can just mess with it during the day and because the product is still in there it’ll work.Side note: I don’t put a lot of the product in my hair, maybe if I put more I wouldn’t have to mess with it during the day.It does have a smell but it’s not anything noticeable or bad. Ohh I do recommend you don’t use this in a small room you won’t be able to breathe

My hair is very fine but thick. This does help me with volume but other products that have helped me more than Oribe although I still love their products

I have fine hair. This doesn’t weigh it down. I use one pump. I’ve gotten compliments on my hair looking fuller.

It did it job but didn’t last as long I I wanted it to. Hair frizzed back up within a couple of hours in the humidity and heat.

I was reluctant about paying so much for this type of product. But after using it, I don’t regret it. It works well and leaves my hair smooth and soft after using a flat iron or curling iron. (I also bought the Tymo hair straightener/smoother and cannot recommend it. It’s not awful, but TBH, my flat iron does the job better and quicker.)

This product, sprayed on to dry hair, gives body and holds hair all day, and longer. If you use a curling iron, and then spray with the Oribe, you will not lose the shape/style you have created, and hair feels much more manageable. Controls fly-away hair, too. Best product I hav found in years – and so much more effective than regular hair spray, which gives a “helmet” appearance, and does not alter texture of the hair. It is expensive, but worth it!

If I had more money I would use this setting spray only! It is amazing and smells so delicious! It works so great in my hair! But it is pretty pricey!

The media could not be loaded. So I have naturally very flat hair, which is frustrating because my hair is thick and course making it hard to get lasting volume regardless of how much back combing or product I use. I thought I had tried everything until I randomly saw texturizing spray at ulta and started doing research. I ultimately settled on this spray, but ordered the smaller size because it is pricey and I wasn’t super confident it was worth the investment. Let me tell you what, I am mind blown with how good this texturizing spray works. It is not sticky and doesn’t make your hair stiff, but by some magic gives tons of added volume! The best part is that it lasts ALL DAY!!! I will say I am not a huge fan of the smell, but it’s light and doesn’t last so it’s not going to stop me from reordering! The only down side is that does shorten the time you can go between washes, but it is well worth the added volume in my book. If you are on the fence because this is not a returnable product (like I was), take the plunge! This is a game changer for all you flat hair girlies like me!

This smells so good. Gives good texture, but a little goes a long way. It’s easy to go overboard. Gives a good amount of hold also. My only gripe is the price. A bottle lasts me about 2-3 months, and it’s a little pricey to replace that frequently.
