The bottle was oily when I touched it because the cap was loose. My hands were stained with a sickeningly sweet smell. I expected it to smell earthy like just before it rains. It doesn’t smell anything like what I imagined. I will try again with another from the line, like “dirt” or “rain”.

I was hopeful that the other reviews I read were incorrect or just disgruntled shoppers. I have purchased other perfumes from this company and have never had an issue. This particular one does not match the The note profile in the description as advertised. It smells of bubblegum with a heavy front note of rubbing alcohol. Worst of all I can’t return it.. I have major regrets about purchasing this awful product.

Great product. Been using these for a few years and they worked flawlessly. They never leak and if you follow the instructions and run 2 quarts of water when you install them, they have absolutely no aftertaste. The very easy to install. You just have to Google your refrigerator model and look up how to reset your filter reminder. Again this represents great value for your money.

this is a subtle and pleasant scent in my opinion. it’s slightly floral. however, it doesn’t smell anything at all like petrichor to me.

An absolutely hideous and nauseating fragrance. I was quite enamoured with the idea of the scent of the fresh fallen rain entrapped in a bottle and given Demeeter’s general respectability went in for a blind purchase. Easily the most nauseating fragrance I have owned, with tremendous sillage and longetivity. I even tried to give the bottle away, but nobody I knew wanted to deal with the nausea and the headaches either. Eventually ended up trashing it. Very disappointed in the product, but since it’s a matter of poor taste and not quality, there’s not much anyone can do about it, but avoid spending the money to buy it.

I have never been SO disappointed in an amazon purchase (and I even had a bottle of fish oil explode in a package during delivery). This was absolutely grotesque. This not only doesn’t smell like “earth after rain”, it smells straight up UNNATURAL. The closest things I could compare it to, are gasoline, nail polish remover, or rubbing alcohol. Maybe a very slight hint of rotting vegetables. It was so bad me and my boyfriend were both gagging and had to light candles and wash our clothes.As if the straight horrid smell wasn’t enough, the item isn’t eligible for return. Don’t waste your money.

Its a nice smell but I am biased. This line is the closest fragrances I can find to CB I HATE PERFUME, which is buy the founder of Demeter.
