Demeter Cologne Spray, Gingerale, 4 Ounce

I love the Demeter Scent Library! I currently have three scents from them (Thunderstorm, Honeysuckle and Moonbeam) and I love them all. I especially like Thunderstorm for layering with other, too sweet scents. This is definitely one of those too sweet scents for me, on it’s own.As soon as I sprayed it I knew I liked it and I had that deja vu feeling– I knew I had smelled almost this EXACT scent before. If I am remembering correctly, this either smells like the lemon sugar perfume spray from Avon’s Mark, or the Purple Fergie perfume from the same. It’s been so long since I’ve smelled either but it immediately brought that back to memory. I do want to say, it doesn’t really smell like lemon, but neither did the lemon sugar perfume.The most powerful note I sense in this perfume is the sweet musk. It’s not just the typical amber scent, I feel there is a little more muskiness to it. To me it’s definitely a FEMININE spray. After the initial punch of the sweet musk (which I love, by the way, amber is one of my favorite fragrances), it settles into your skin and you start to smell the lighter, more floral notes, almost like little flowers springing up. Maybe I’m just being poetic, but I feel like as it settles in, I really do feel like one scent pops up, and then another and then another.As I said, I like to layer this with the Thunderstorm to give it a more wet, earthy scent. On it’s own, moonbeam is kind of a powdery musk.The only negative thing about this perfume is the bottle, and I’ve had this issue with another of my Demeter bottles. Sometimes when you depress the spray-head, it gets stuck at the bottom so you can’t just spritz, spritz, spritz. It has to be Spritz, wait, kinda mess with the tip, spritz again.Describing scents is hard, but if you have any questions, let me know!

love the scent. it is quite gingerale-y, but the longevity and sillage of this, and honestly all of the demeter fragrances i’ve tried, is lacking. i would consider this a very light body spray.

Five stars for the scent, no stars for the bottle. The bottle is made entirely of thin plastic, even the metallic looking cap. Soon after receiving the bottle, I noticed that it sweats the cologne. The bottle is slick and oily to handle, and it seems like a lot of the cologne has evaporated off. Worse yet, after a few months, the spray mechanism on the bottle is completely broken. I have another Demeter fragrance in a glass bottle and had higher expectations. I’m disappointed.

I love demeter moonbeam. This to me smells like, fruity flowery musky with hint of vanilla. Sweet tropical fruit , honey dripping yellow flowery and very musky dry down. Every has different taste and sense differently so I can only say what I like about moonbeam scent. I think its one of the good one out of all demeter library. as usual, this does not last long compare to other brand fragrances.
