This product did make my hair soft right after I used it. I purchased this product as something fun and silly to do to my hair. I was told that this product was temporary and that it would wash out. I should add that my hair is blonde (from a bottle) so this may be why I have bright purple hair now and after about 15 washings now, it has not faded. Unfortunatley, I did not put the product on my hair evenly and it looks very blotchy. I am rather embarrassed to go anywhere without a hat on and the salons are all closed due to the COVID 19 quarantines. So, if you want permanent color, then I would say it is a good product. However, if you are like me and wish it would wash out, you may not want to purchase this product.

I don’t think it’s working. I got this to prevent my teal color form fading and it’s still lighter each time I use it

My hair feels great after use, very soft. Not much color on my hair, but dyed my scalp for a couple days. The smell isn’t necessarily bad, just very strong.

I’ve used Chi products before and haven’t been disappointed but this one truly deserves zero stars.Abysmal conditioner. My hair looks dryer than before I used it. But worst of all, it doesn’t tint. No color change at all. I left it on for 15 minutes and nothing. And the scent is nasty. Smells like dollar store cologne, no offense to dollar stores. The only good thing was that it didn’t stain my skin or shower. I had to wear gloves. And it stained a white towel but that’s expected. For the money, this product is worthless.

I’m giving this a 4 stars because it had great results in my hair BUT I have to discontinue use due to a bad reaction I had. My neck broke out in flaky, dry patches after using this conditioner, and my skin isn’t usually sensitive. It doesn’t seem to be a common reaction based on all the positive reviews, but I would recommend new users doing a patch test for sure. The company did their part by including a warning, though, but like I said my skin isn’t usually reactive. Either way, leaves a beautiful tint in the hair and would recommend trying it (while taking precautions)!

I wanted to really love this product. It stains your hands and does not deposit very well. I love Chi products, this one did not meet the quality I expected.

I have purchased the Blonde/Silver numerous times. Upon trying to order it again, the bottle of Blonde/Silver is shown in the picture, but the item description is “ Mahogany Red Color”. I want to order this conditioner again!! Please, someone correct this on the site!

I finally found a product that does what it says! The color really does deposit on the hair. I had to be careful to do a second application to get the color completely even. I recommend combing through the hair while it is in the hair to get the color even. The color will vary with the blonde pieces and other shades I have, so that was a plus. To keep the color strong and vibrant, I’d recommend using it once a week. It comes in many fun colors! The colors are mixable too. I used Mahogany red and cocoa brown. I first used only the mahogany red, but it was a little too bright for my age, I thought (I’m almost 67), so I used cocoa brown, which deepened the brown and left the right amount of reds. Left my hair soooo soft, and the scent wonderful!

This definitely rescued my washed out color but as someone who skin doesn’t normally stain, I was lost for words. My back, neck, and hands are completely stained. They should have proper instructions to guide users. Please guys take proper precautions with the staining of your skin. My shower is fine somehow.

I tried all sorts of blue and purple colored toning shampoos and hair masks to correct my brassy highlights. I was almost considered dying my hair brown but I didn’t want additional damage on top of the bleach.I thought I’d give this a try. I left it on only for 3 minutes because I didn’t want it to make my highlights too dark.It completely resolved the brassiness and my highlights are a much cooler, natural looking mahogany brown color.I will continue to use this weekly

I followed the directions completely and it does not work. There is no teal color in my hair at all.

This did everything I wanted it to do for my hair in terms of color. Magic with the shampoo. In terms of leaving your hair soft, it’s better than most for sure. I love it.

I have grey hair and parts of it are yellow or brassy. This conditioner takes all that away and leaves a very nice lavender shade. I totally reccomend this product

Love the scent of this. Makes my hair so soft. But beware! It says to leave in up to 15 minutes. If you did that your hair would be purple! I left it in no longer than 5 minutes and my silver hair turned different hues of purple and blue. Thankfully it washed out in two washings. Other than that it’s a great conditioner.
