I have had a sample of this fragrance from a trusted friend and adored the deep spicy balmy incense mixture of Vanilla Bourbon with notes of patchouli, tobacco and slight smoky woodiness. So, I finally decided to take the plunge on the full bottle, for my Birthday. The Bottle itself was intact, the packaging is indeed the original packaging expected with this scent however, it was not anything at all like the sample I have from my friend. What is in this bottle is either been stored incorrectly for several years or it has been tampered, it smells just putrid, rancid and like some sort of cleaning chemical/mothballs or solvent has been used to dilute it. No smoky woodiness, no balmy incense, no vanilla….I smell tobacco and a chemical solvent. I am heartbroken and it is non-returnable so that just entirely ruined my Birthday. Thanks Amazon, for not checking out your 3rd party vendors at all. I would not buy from this seller again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. It was slightly discounted and I guess it was actually a scam.
