The product works well for me. I am transitioning to natural and I like to lighten up my natural hair until I can remove the processed length. This product works well in that my hair does not revert as quickly as it did when I did not use the product. I reside in a hot, humid climate so I’m assuming that it could work most places.

If you are like me and have a full head of 4a, and 4b hair, that likes to swell like mine in the summer, this is a good product. the hair closest to the tips (the oldest part of hair) tends to be more porous and looses its form fast. I leave my house with my hair “flat” and come back in 5 minutes later with a lion’s mane. this product may be a bit oily but I care more about results. Go as light or as heavy as you want. I like that I am able to make my hair lay down extra straight (bone straight), like I did easily in the days when I had a relaxer and wore the wrap style. I’ve been natural for years now and have been defining my curls, but of late I have been wanting to mix things up a bit. Use this crème for super straightening and then the Keracare Oil Sheen with Humidity Block. I don’t think the cream is meant to block humidity. So after flat ironing your hair with the cream, you can go over your hair for a last time but at THAT time…with the humidity blocking oil sheen. That is the only way my super straight hair kept from getting big or frizzy. Personally, I think they should mix the cream with a humidity blocking factor. One step process. Maybe I will take and upload a picture when I get my next jar. This is an add-on for those who are 3c. My hair is 3c in the section of the hair closest to the back of my neck. If you are 3C, you should do well with this product just go light.

I bought this recently with the curl activator as a bit of a splurge. Since I’ve been going natural with my curly hair I’ve mostly used drug store brands for my hair. My hair is super fine and needs a lot of hold to keep my curls in place while they dry, this AG gives the product a 5/5 for hold. Compared to other strong hold gels and mousse I’ve used I would say it’s more of a 3/5. With this and the curl activator I start out with pretty defined hair after I’ve worked them in, but as my hair dries my curls have kind of stretched out and gone a bit limp in places. I also pretty much need a refresh each day after wash day, with my herbal essence mouse I usually don’t need a refresh until the third day. The second thing that I was’t impressed with is how dull and lifeless my hair looks when I use these products. I’ve used a lot of gels by the Mane Choice in combination with the herbal essence mouse, and they always leave my hair super shiny and glossy. The color of my hair is much darker with this and kind of looks like it’s greasy even if the texture doesn’t look greasy, If that makes any sense. I doubt I’ll even finish the bottle. I’ve been experimenting with the curl activator and different products with some really amazing results.If you’re looking for a really strong hold gel, I would say skip this one. But I would recommend the curl activator by AG if you’re after more definition.

This AKCCP did exactly what it was supposed to do. I found it light weight, light fragrance, you only need a 1/2 dime size in your hands, rub them together and apply to your hair especially your ends. You can blow out your hair or in my instance my hair was already dried I used it befor I flatironed my hair (see pics) with good results. I went a whole week without me having to reapply the heat. Since you are only using a little bit the jar should last a while. The heat and this product gave me body, flowing hair. Additionally, for those who are natural (as I am), when I washed my hair all of my beautiful coils came back into place. I feel that AKCCP was a good purchase for my needs. Thank you.I noticed that some reviews said the product was runny for them and I would say request a replacement. As you can see from the pictures provided, the product arrived solid and was not melted or liquidfied.

My hair is curly and bleached I was recommended this gel from my hairstylist. It’s a smooth gel that I love to use before diffusing. First time using a gel that didn’t leave a thick cast or crunch to my hair, but holds nicely.

I have naturally curly 3a/3b curl that has a tendency to be dry & frizzy. I have used many products over the years. This is now my favorite. The gel is lightweight and defines my curls beautifully. It does not make my hair stiff. I can wash it, use the gel, and after 3 days it still looks good. I highly recommend it.

I have tried a lot of things when I press my 4C hair. This has been the best product to use. It straightened my hair and doesn’t feel super greasy after I press my hair. I NEVER write reviews on Amazon and felt compelled to do so and appreciated others doing their reviews (which is why I bought this product based on the reviews).

Truly like & appreciate the KeraCare Crem Press. Creme Press puts moisture back into hair & scalp, makes hair soft & manageable because of dry climate here. Used to buy it in beauty supply store in Denver CO, but the store closed.
