Product came nicely packaged to prevent damage to the element. This igniter does not come with the mounting bracket so the original bracket must be used. This can be replaced to fix a dryer that isn’t heating.Replacement is simple, begin by lifting the top panel of the dryer. Next, remove the two screw that hold on the front panel at the top. Pull the front panel away from the clips. My dryer panel had to be pulled upwards off of the clips to be removed. Once removed, depress the tensioner pulley on the belt to slide the belt off of the motor. This will allow you to remove the drum and get better access to the igniter as the igniter is very fragile. Unplug the old igniter, unscrew the mount and remove the assembly. Unscrew the old igniter from the bracket and screw the new one in until the igniter can not be moved from side to side. Do not overtighten the mounting screw. At this time, wipe off any residue that may be built up on the flame sensor or the flame eye. This is a small piece that is normally right beside the igniter. Also take the time to clean out any lint and debris from inside the cabinet. Finally, carefully slide the new igniter into place and screw the mount in. Plug the igniter in and put dryer back together. Slide the drum into place (this may be easier with two people) and slip the belt back over the motor by depressing the pulley. I would also recommend replacing the belt while you already have the drum out, but it might not be necessary. Place front panel back on and push the top back down into place.****Always remember to disconnect power and shut the gas to the dryer off prior to working on the unit.Front panel also has a door latch sensor that must be unplugged prior to removing the panel. Take a picture or mark these wires to ensure they are plugged back in the proper way.

Part took a little longer to arrive probably due to the craziness going on with covid . Package had been crushed but the part was well protected in a foam/cardboard packing. Exact fit, easy install and got the range back in operation. I would buy this again and probably will have to as this is a weak link part that is expected to fail within two years. My original part only lasted 18 months.UPDATE: While the OEM part that came with the new stove lasted only 18 months, this replacement lasted almost two years. Better than what came with the stove but still pretty miserable performance in my opinion. Not faulting the manufacturer, just commenting on the state of how things are made these days. I grew up in a home with a gas stove and that stove was still in use with no problems when I left home at 17. Just not something that ever went out.

When our dryer’s ignitor went out, we struggled to find one locally. We have five people using our washer and dryer, so they get used almost daily. We found this one on Amazon. We were not thrilled with the shipping. It didn’t get sent right away and was delayed, and then due to a holiday was delayed an extra day. By this time we did find one locally for $30 more! For a couple days the few items we washed were either dried at a friend’s house or line dried. Finally the part arrived and it was an exact match. Super easy to install and seems to be working perfectly. I can’t tell you about longevity. We haven’t had it that long yet, but overall for the price and difficulty to find, waiting the extra couple days was worth it.

Works perfectly. Easy to install and works exactly as it should.

I’m actually thinking about buying another set of burners and grate for my grill. This really extends the life of a grill as the cost is appropriate and not equal to the cost of a new grill. Very Pleased.

This is not an OEM product nor does it claim to be. It also costs 1/4 as much. I disliked that some listing on Amazon seem to imply it is OEM and charge OEM prices for a third-party product. My supplier was “Snap Supply”. And I am quite happy. The product worked perfectly fine and it was a direct replacement for my broken igniter. While there were small differences between this and the original, I wouldn’t have notice if I wasn’t looking for them.To replace this easily:0) unplug the unit from the wall so there is no electricity.1) remove the warming drawer, using the latches on the sliders2) remove the bottom metal panel (blueish) by removing the 2 screws in the back bottom and rotate out from tabs in the front3) remove the heat spreader on the bottom (unpainted) by unscrewing the screws in the front bottom and rotating it out from the tabs in the back.4) unscrew the flame tube by removing 1 screw in the bottom front middle and 1 screw in the back wall.5) unplug the connector for the igniter by reaching to the back of the warming drawer area or by pulling it away from the wall and reaching from the back.6) rotate out the flame tube and igniter as a unit.7) replace igniter by removing the 2 screws and nuts holding it to the flame tube8) reassemble by doing the same in reverse making sure the flame tube is seated properly on the gas supply from the safety valve.A moderately handy person can do this in 20min with a Phillips head screw driver. Why pay 4x as much when even if this is junk (it isn’t) you can swap it so easily?Make sure you use a good quality #2 Phillips screwdriver because they will be coated in crud and you obviously don’t want to strip the screws. Press down on them hard and and apply a firm twist and you will be fine.I assume there is a wide tolerance but mine measured 75.1 ohms for what it is worth. The broken one was an open circuit.

I was gifted an old Char-broil 5 burner in need of some love. After a season of use, I decided new grates would be step one on extending the life of this big grill and these do a great job. They fit well and are quite sturdy. My only wish would be a more non stick coating or easier to clean. The cast iron doesn’t have the self release I am accustomed to. I soak in hot soapy water and use a stiff nylon brush to bring back to like new.

The brand new range only lasted a couple years before this part broke. I ordered an OEM ignitor which also lasted a couple years. This part is half the price and does the job. I really don’t expect it to last longer than the OEM part but at half the price, I don’t really care. I’ve ordered a spare one so I can do an emergency repair if needed.

They’re a nice replacement. $300 grill so it suits my purpose. Length wise they’re about 0.15 short and about 0.25 width short but otherwise no complaints

Just cut the wires to the old one, install this, and use the twist caps to join up to the old wires. It fired up red hot! No idea how long we had the old one since it was there when we moved in. No idea how long this one will last, but we’ll see.

I ordered the part and had it the next day, it fit like the OEM part and was a good deal. I would reorder from them again.

Living in the south my grill grates seem to deteriorate over time. This is a reasonably priced replacement and fits well. Time will tell how they hold up over time.

I have had my Samsung Oven for about 8 years. This is the third oven igniter I have had to buy (its either a oven defect or a sloppy husband issue (spillage in oven). It works like the one the oven came with – so don’t worry it won’t be as good as the “Samsung” part. Hopefully I get a couple years out of it. My first mail order lasted 2 years. My second from a big box store only lasted a year. This one “amazon” has lasted more than a year and still going.
