For reference I ordered the color light, I am 31 years old, oily/combo skin, freckles and fair neutral skin. I have both pink and yellow tones in my skin. I took a wild guess ordering the color light and it blends well with my fair skin! I posted a few pictures, sorry the lighting isn’t great but I figured it was better than nothing. My hands are a little red in the pictures because it’s been cold outside. In the picture I am wearing one light layer of this foundation only. I am typically one of the fairest shades in most foundations sold. If you go to the PUR site they have a color matching tool both by matching from another foundation shade you have used (what I used) or also by a virtual try on. I also searched YouTube videos and googled pictures of the shade light to see if it would match. Now on to what I think about the actual foundation. When I first tried on the foundation I must say I wasn’t overly impressed. Like I mentioned I have freckles and I am used to a more full coverage foundation. The coverage is pretty light (on initial try on) and I didn’t think it was doing much at first. I’m not used to powder foundation. I wanted to try a mineral foundation because I’ve been having hormonal breakouts and I thought it may help. So I gave the foundation another few chances with a different more dense flat top foundation brush and also I put on two layers. I ended up really liking the coverage that way. I’ve used it with and without foundation primer. I like it with the bare minerals primer. When comparing this to bare minerals I like them both. I feel like bare minerals has more coverage with one layer. With the PUR I have to build it up more for coverage, but I don’t have an issue with that. In bare minerals I’ve worn both the shades fairly light and golden fair. This PUR is way more convenient and less messy than bare minerals. It does really well with my oily/combo skin type. It looks natural and overall very flattering. With any powder foundation I have to make sure my peach fuzz on my face is removed. That’s just me. I don’t think powder foundation looks flattering on me with peach fuzz on my face. All it takes is a little nair, no big deal. I am a mom of toddlers and this powder foundation is fast and easy when you get the hang of it. I love the idea of mineral foundation. I have noticed my skin has gotten better since wearing it every day in comparison to heavy liquid foundation. If coverage is what you are after I would suggest a dense flat top foundation brush or beauty sponge. Real techniques makes a great powder foundation sponge that I love and it gives great coverage with this foundation. I never thought I would be converted to mineral powder foundation after using liquid for so long but I absolutely love it. It feels so light and nice on your skin in comparison to heavy liquid. It also looks natural. I would describe the finish as a natural semi-matte or stain finish. It’s not overly matte and flat. It doesn’t make my skin oily which is a big thing for me because I have an oily t-zone. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I feel like this foundation claims to have great coverage, but in actuality you have to build it up to get more full coverage. My favorite thing about this foundation is I can throw it in my bag if I’m running late along with a powder brush and throw it on in the car really easily. This is essential for me as a busy mom! Most days I put this foundation on that way and hardly even look in the mirror at what I’m doing. Lol!

I had been using Larenim pressed mineral makeup for about 30 years. Now it’s no longer available unless you can find somebody selling one with a weird color. The ingredients were wonderful! People used to ask me all the time But I was wearing because it just gives you a flawless complexion with a bookie brush very easy to use! Well if I know they were gonna stop making the product I would have purchased a case before they did. This does equally as well as my beloved Larenim. The 1st color was too light but thank God for Amazon prime it wasn’t used at centennit wasn’t used I sent it back and ordered the next shade up and that was perfect. As long as you don’t use it you just look at the color you can see if it’s too light or dark because the pictures on the website are not accurate. Highly recommend will be purchasing again and again.

Received product broken. This is on a monthly subscribe I hate the fact I live an hour from a ups store and now have to drive in to ship back defective product.

TLDR, this foundation provides a boost to your natural skin without that foundation feeling. Think your skin but better… less red and more even, zits are less noticable but not invisible, pores exist but aren’t highlighted and are slightly “blurred”(Though I highly recommend reading the full review obviously)This review is to help you decide if it’s right for you, I’m going to be honest and thorough because I find those reviews most helpful, even if that means sharing unflattering pics lolThe pictures include one front facing camera, and the rest are rear facing WITH FLASH so you can see how it sits on skin texture, take. Roughly 4hrs after application. While no one wants to post unflattering pics of themselves, I think it’s important to accurately portray how the product works. When looking at me in real life, it looks like the front facing camera shot, but as with any foundation it looks very different under bright unflattering light or when you examine it closely in a mirror. I thought it was important to include both.So onto the review. This is a lightweight, sheer coverage, buildable, powder foundation.Pros- lightweight, as in I literally can’t feel it on my skin- buildable- doesn’t cling to dry patches- doesn’t highlight the large pores near my nose- can be used on it’s own, as a setting powder, or even as a foundation with spot coverage using concealer or foundation for a more natural sheer look while still covering “problem” spots.- doesn’t get that weird separation in oily areas that can happen with some foundations.- doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin- long lasting, still look good at the end of the day- while it’s not waterproof, you can go out in the rain or workout without it all coming offCons (or at least things some might not like)- it’s sheer, while buildable you’ll never reach full coverage with just this powder.- it’s pressed powder, many prefer loose powder as it’s more finely milled. I will say this is verrrrry finely milled for a pressed powder though- the shade range isn’t fantastic, though if you’re pale you’re in luck- it’s somewhere between a matte and satin. While more “dewy” than most powders, it’s still a powder foundation and won’t give you that wet glass dewy lookFor reference, I don’t use primer and I did not use foundation or concealer under it for more coverage. I am having a flare up with my skin (hormones, not a reaction to the powder) so I have a few zits and red patches, but I figured this was a good time to make the review so others with these problems can see what kind of coverage to expect. I ordered shade light porcelain as I’m very pale. It’s a good match for me, other brands that match well for me for comparison…. Wet n wild photofocus in soft ivory, wet n wild cushion foundation in porcelain, hard candy glamoflauge in vanilla, and I believe I used porcelain in Maybelline fit me.

I was skeptical of the brand when I first saw it on TV almost 10 years ago now, mainly because it’s hard to match American brands with my Asian skintone. My friend gave me a dab of hers to try out the shade, and I absolutely fell in love with it! Even though it’s full-coverage, it’s not cakey, nor does it make you feel like you have makeup on – that would’ve been a deal-breaker for me. It truly is lightweight and full-coverage. I can’t speak to the SPF portion, since I use a moisturizer that has SPF in it as well under this foundation. But overall, I have nothing but LOVE for the IT Cosmetics brand.

First off I want to say that I absolutely hate liquid or cream foundations in general. They feel so heavy and fake on my skin. I’ve tried so many different kinds, and they end up separating with my face oils regardless of what kind of primer I’ve used or whatever. I was looking around for a new powder to try and I ran across this one. I figured I’d give it a go. I am absolutely sold and will no longer be buying any other brand it covers all of my red spots perfectly doesn’t leave me looking like a mannequin like some Foundations. The coverage is very buildable. Feels light like I have nothing on. I use a Morphe flat powder blending brush and it works great to buff it in. It is also non-comedogenic so I don’t break out because of it. I have very oily (but combination in some spots ) skin, and this works great to matte down the oily spots but not irritate the dry spots. Try it! It’s worth it.

I had read good reviews about this product and decided to try it. I bought the brush that they recommend to work with it. I have to say that this product does cover your face with a foundation look and can be applied more if you want a heavier coverage. I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t bother me at all. It gives a polished look to the face and I must say will cover up some redness on the cheek and chin area. It’s not like a color corrector but it works well enough. This is a good product for everyday wear when you don’t feel like spending time on liquid foundation. The texture of this product does feel like a moisturized mineral foundation powder if that makes sense. I don’t get a flour faced look. I do wear moisturizer under the product though. I have dry skin and mature skin. I recommend it for the ease and price.

This makeup worked fine. It was not flaky an perfect for aging skin. However, it was definitely not worth the price for such a small amount.

This powder is fantastic! It applies smoothly and offers excellent coverage, effectively concealing blemishes and skin discoloration. What I love most is that it feels lightweight and doesn’t look cakey. It leaves a soft, velvety finish and matches my skin tone perfectly.

Super quick coverage. Love that it’s vegan since I have sensitive skin. Easy to find a color palette that suits me. I’ve purchased many times. Expensive but worth the money since it saves me steps/time.

I will never need another product – this is it! Very happy w color match, feel and coverage. I generally don’t wear too much makeup but have developed a skin issue. This product makes my skin near flawless- truly a game changer for me at almost 60. A definately recommend and on auto ship it’s so perfect. Very happy!

I usually purchase this from Ulta, however they have not been carrying it in stock lately for my shade. I found this one on Amazon and it was actually cheaper than the normal cost at Ulta. So of course I had to purchase it. I like that it has a little bit of sunblock in it, it goes on really smooth. Color match seems to do well and blends. I haven’t noticed it to be very buildable without looking cakey, but the initial coverage is enough to even out skin without having to build layers. With a good primer it holds all day, and I haven’t noticed any skin issues for wearing it. I.e breakouts or anything like that.
