UPDATE: No more than two weeks after writing the review below, I got a check engine light with a Cylinder 1 Misfire on the OBD. I cleared it, and a few days later it came back on. This pattern repeated for about two weeks, and it became clear that it was time to let my baby go. I think my 100 mile drive to San Diego and back was what put the final nail in the coffin. So in summery, yes, this stuff works temporarily, especially if your car hasn’t been overheating and you’re driving less than 30 miles at a time. It probably would hold indefinitely if you’re only commuting and not transporting a heavy load. It really is a finger-in-the-dike solution, and it won’t hold for long under stress. It got me through two months which was long enough for me to drive down memory lane and say goodbye to my old truck and replace her with her baby sister, just like that episode of the Wonder Years when Jack Arnold (the dad) has to replace the family car. I wasn’t disappointed by the outcome but took a star off my original score, just so my review is not any more misleading than it may have been.Is it worth buying? It was for me, but if you’re less sentimental and you’d rather tare the bandage off than peal it, I would go directly to replacing a high mileage car or the head gasket. Good luck! Please read on for the original review:ORIGINAL: Crossing my fingers as I write this, but it seems to have done the trick! I took my 2005 Tacoma into a local auto garage after the first time the Check Engine Light came on in late May. Mechanic said it was my thermostat, so he replaced the part, and I was on my way $400 later.Check engine light came back on June 20th, and by this time I had purchased an OBD II bluetooth scanner and Torque Pro for my Android device, as I felt powerless with my last experience. It showed a cylinder 1 misfire, and figured I needed new spark plugs so I went on Amazon to purchase new spark plugs, a spark plug wrench socket, anti cease compound and a torque wrench to do the repair myself (it was kinda fun!). I cleared the check engine light, and drove normal until July 6ish, when the check engine light came back on with the dreaded cylinder 1 misfire. From then on, I kept clearing the light and checking to see how long it took for it to come back on; it seemed to happen every 5 or so days and always when the engine was cold, and I was speeding up from 0 to 45 mph, as I live right off a busy street.Took the truck to the dealership on August 1st for a diagnosis, and they told me that I had a minor blown head gasket, which was leaking coolant into my cylinder 1 causing the misfire when the engine was cold. They can tell because, they checked the spark plug for wetness after leaving the engine off over night. As the engine heats up, the misfires stops because the gasket expands and creates a seal. They used the scare tactic to tell me that I will need a new gasket or I would need to sell the truck within a few weeks because the engine will soon start over heating, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. The repair would cost $2500, which include the gasket inspection of the head for cracks, machining the head, and obviously reassembly. Check out the photo attached the recommendation.I got super depressed that I would have to give my baby up soon, as she and I have gone through so much together, so I started to research the problem and came across this Head Seal and a similar product from another brand. After watching a few testimonials on YouTube, I decided to give it a shot. Being a total beginner in auto mechanics, I didn’t understand how to drain the coolant properly, so I made a mess, but got the Head Seal liquid in and ran the engine as instructed on August 4th.I kept my eye on my OBD with my android tablet almost every day, and found a cylinder 1 misfire “pending” in the app five days later on August 9th. My check engine light came back on the next day on August 10th, and I got depressed again. I cleared it and kept driving, as I started to shop for a new truck. Well, it’s September 6th almost a month since the last misfire, and there hasn’t been a new one. I keep the tablet in the truck most of the time to run diagnostics, and still nothing. Here’s my theory: Because I only had a slight leak, the nano particles took a few heating and cooling cycles to really get in the cracks and cure into place. Therefore, it’s a slow process, especially for an intermittent leak like mine. I try not to rev my engine over 2500 rpms, and drive slow while it heats, which probably helps too.So far so good! I keep my tablet in the car to keep an eye on the thermometer as well, and the coolant stays at about 88 degrees Celsius when driving on the freeway, which is perfect. As soon as I see an uptick of one or two degrees, I’ll flush my coolant. I’ve gone on several 100+ mile trips also in the last month, and it’s holding up.It’s been a roller coaster ride (not the product, but my experience with my truck) but I’m glad things are stable. Will update if anything pops up in the next few weeks, but it looks like this seriously saved me $2460, at least for the time being. Knock on wood. If you’re having these issues, good luck, and may the force be with you!

I do not understand the negative comments on this product. I bought them for every member of my extended family. These are amazing masks. The design is brilliant and solves every issue with mask-wearing-esp. n95 masks which can get uncomfortable quickly. The design is a duckbill mask type n95. While I cannot test in a lab I feel confident based on how they are structured and their ability to filter the air I am breathing that they are probably the most secure n95s I have tried. The reason is their design. They are designed to stay off the face but instead form a seal around the bridge of the nose, sides of the face and over the chin. This means very little air is coming from the sides or top and most of the air you breathe is *filtered through* the electrostatic material. The straps are very light weight but very stretchy. You must position them well. Once you do, and secure the nose clip the mask does not move off the face. They work for both my husband and I and our teenager. They are probably too big for small children or people with very small faces but they work for my mom and she has a very small face.I have a big family and got them for everyone so seriously–they are not uncomfortable. My mom has a lung condition and hates n95s and only wears them because she is high risk. She loves these. The almost bandag- like stretch of the straps is also very ingenious because there is slight friction that holds them on your hair without slipping. It’s quite tight. Moreover, there is *no ear pain* because they go around the back of the head. You literally cannot feel them yet they are extremely secure. They use the friction of this very light stretch fabric rather than tension to keep the mask extremely secure. The face is completely covered by the mask down to the chin because because it doesn’t touch the face.So you don’t get sweaty or uncomfortable and it is in fact easier to breathe than a cloth mask. Because only the sides of the mask rest lightly on the chin, sides of face and top of nose, it doesn’t give you the claustrophobic feeling some report with masksThe nose clip is thick and secure. Very well made and comfortable and comforms well to the nose. It too is very comfortable and feels light on the face. The material is thin but the key advantage of the n95 is the electrostatic material of the papere. it traps particles so the layers are not as essential as the structure of the material. I have no way of testing these except informally (see below). There a couple of reasons I trust the design more than the standard thicker n95s . For one thing you will feel very little air coming in or out of the sides. My glasses do not fog at all. When you breath in the mask forms a *tighter* seal around the face. This means the mask is filtering air through before you breath it.The fact the mask is away from your face allows for breathability and comfort. Yes, it’s not the most appealing look. I do not wear a second mask as I usually do because I have a lot of confidence about the filtration and the fact that the mask is clearly filtering the air flow rather than allow substantial air flow through the sides. This is clearly part of its intended design. However, you could wear a second maks –I’d wear this one on top though since it is designed to ensure air flows through the fabric AS you breath in.You will quickly see it is not necessary. This is very effectively filtering particles out of the air as you breathe. The reason for my confidence in the mask is that I’ve worn many n95s and respirators over this pandemic and I’ve always noticed that I can often smell through them easily. (I have an acute sense of smell.) In an odd way certain scents even become more potent possibly because background smells are filtered out.In fact, this is not an issue and doesn’t mean your n95 mask doesn’t work because many of the molecules we smell are .0004 um –so molecules we smell are smaller than the virus particle. They still get through. However, I’ve never had an n95 block my these molecules as well as this one. I was in a restaurant and could smell NONE of the food…when I sanitized my hands I caught the teensiest bit of alcohol scent but I barely noticed it.Usually when I go to the store I can smell the flowers, or the fish in the fish department, etc. With this–I smell nothing. It’s crazy to take it off after all day wearing it–at first smell is very intense like my olfactory sense has been deprived the whole time and for a few minutes I smell *everything.*I think this is a good indicator this mask filters almost all the air you’re breathing in. Your out breath may be felt slightly by the side but this does not indicate lack of filtration because as I said the inhalation pulls air through the mask so that the mask actually tightens slightly on your face and you are breathing nothing from the sides. For this all to work, you must be willing to take a minute to carefully adjust the mask. When you first open it you cannot see the straps. You have to separate out both sides of the duck bill and pull them out. You should hold them carefully with your hand, smooth your hair and put one on the upper part of the head and one closer to the bottom curve of your skull….make sure they are separated far enough apart to create separate tension between each side of the duck bill. It’s really not hard! I’m just trying to imagine what peoiple are doing with the masks because they are OBVIOUSLY easy to keep on and comfortable. You literally cannot feel the straps *all day long.* There is zero pressure on your head from the straps. That’s another amazing thing of this design. The straps are soooooo stretchy but light that you don’t have any discomfort from them unlike the usual n95 elastic strap.I truly cannot get over how good these masks are! I cannot believe there’s not a run on them on amazon!Kudos to whomever designed these.

I am a medical professional and have been fit tested for and worn hospital grade N95 masks in the US (and FFP2 and FFP3 masks in EU). I was very happy to see these masks offered from Kimberly-Clark, a trusted brand of laboratory products. Even among reputable science suppliers, they have the highest quality for their other products. The masks come in a large plastic bag which is great because it reduces the environmental impact (versus individual or small group packaging). This is also typical of how many lab items come, and I am not sure why this would be of concern to some reviewers. The masks are duck bill style which are softer and give more room between you and the mask. The straps go over the back of the head and are more comfortable for extended use than the ear loops. The metal piece should be pressed over the bridge of your nose and cheek bones to get a good fit on the top, the bottom of the mask should go under your chin. The key to 95% filtration of the air (hence name “N95”) depends on two key features:(1) Quality of the mask filtration: Many of the KN95 masks that have been tested in the US government and/or academic labs do not provide 95% filtration as they claim. Some are not even good as 30-40%. Thus, I was encouraged by the Kimberly Clark reputation and NIOSH testing for genuine N95 masks.(2) Seal around the mask and face: In order to get 95% filtration all of the air has to go in and out of the mask material (not through gaps between the edges of the mask and the face). In a hospital setting, one needs to be fit tested to make sure the N95 mask is the right shape and size for one’s face. With the stiff dome style N95 masks, they typically leave an imprint in the face if there was a good seal. If you have a good seal, all the air should be going through the mask material and none slipping out the sides. If you have a good seal with the duck bill style, the mask material should go in and out as you breath. One reviewer mentioned difficulty breathing. If you are getting 95% filtration, your lungs have to work harder to pull/push the air in and out through the mask material. This can be claustrophobic for some people at first but most users can adapt quickly.Getting a tight fit: I found it difficult to get a seal at first below the chin. The extra long metal piece at the top gives me a good fit after I shape it to may face. If I stretch the blue straps a bit first and then tie a little knot in each of them, I can get a tigher seal. If still too loose, This works especially well if I put both straps at the top back of my head (above my pony tail). This is different than with the dome style N95 that I wore in the hospital where the lower strap when under my pony tail). If you are just going into a store for a short time, I found that by mouth breathing my chin was lower and I could get a good seal without messing with the straps. N.B. If you have a beard or facial hair, you need to shave if you want a good fit for any N95 mask (hospital rules). Note that turning your head, nodding, talking or other movements of the mouth or head can change the fit of any N95 mask.If you want the best protection and you work with the mask to get a tight fit on your face, this is likely the best you can do without getting fit tested and access to medical grade masks. It is also just over $1 per mask which is much cheaper than the other options I saw, with dubious providence.

No dislikes. These where exactly what I ordered and worked perfect.

So, the last(only) winter storm in Texas, cracked my radiator and damaged the engine inner cooling walls somewhere in the block. This caused my oil and radiator fluid to mix and was visible by the “milk” on my oil cap.Replaced radiator, hoses, head gaskets to spec, water pump and timing belt while I was in there. Car was still dumping radiator fluid in the engine internals.I added this stuff per directions and wherever the crack was it has been sealed. I have been driving to work everyday for about 2 months now, towed some stuff, smoked my clutch a bit and no oil water mix.I do not know how long this fix will last but I plan on purchasing a refurbished block so it was certainly a much cheaper and convenient fix at the time.Downside, my car will start to overheat on the highway going 75 after work with the AC on in the Texas heat, but I attribute that to this stuff most likely clogging the radiator a bit. It never reaches critical temperature so I am still satisfied with the results; I just roll down the windows and sweat it out.06′ Kia Spectra 2.0 STD Trans, 145,000 miles….yes I tow with it.Update as of 6.7.2022This product did not fix the issue permanently. I have suffered more milky residue, loss of fluid levels over time and overheating issue cause by loss of fluids. However, in comparison to what it was before it is still an improvement. My engine was at the end of its life and this product has stretched it out a much longer than if I had done nothing. I am fairly certain my cylinder bores are now as rough as sandpaper but the engine still holds compression, runs and get me where I need to go.

This mask fits well usually but sometimes I have to fiddle with the chin area. But regardless it provides good filtering from offensive smells and other particulates.Sometimes the nose strip is a bit off center but generally that doesn’t affect performance too much. It’s okay for 1-2 hours but anything longer does feel uncomfortable. But I’ve worn it for about 8 hours straight.I have use this mask to fly and attend a large conference and didn’t have issues with contracting anything. But note that this is not a guarantee that the mask will you keep safe. I did my part by being consistent and taking supplements to improve my well being.I am pretty happy with the effectiveness of this mask and I have been using this mask since last fall. I only gave it 4 stars because I want some some consistent quality for each mask, and it can be hard to do strenuous tasks with it. But I don’t doubt it’s ability to filter.

I had a check engine light come on and received P0420 and P0430 codes. I had a very cheap bluetooth one that linked to phone prior. it was sooooo hard to get connected, it lost connection often, and was very frusting using their app. I decided to go with a hardwire OBD2 since i am basically sitting in the drivers seat when using it anyway. this links up immediately, and it actually does link to your phone app via bluetooth so you can see reports on the phone app. however the main functionality is on the devices display. So i was able to clear out my engine light codes to seeif the issue came back. it did. i did more research and was able to check my o2 sensors using graphs in additiona to voltage to determine that yes catalytic and sensors were bad. after i got my cat and sensors fixed i was able to monitor the system again and see i get all Green on the tests… i am very satisfied with this device. i got it on a lightning deal for even less… but definitely would recommend over the very cheap ones.

For 20 bucks this kit is great. Came with the tools and zip clips. Sure I’m not gonna use every clip in the set but now I have some for my friends. The plastic case is trash but not the end of the world. You can put these clips in another more rigid divided container if it’s that’s a deal breaker for you.

I break about 50% of the fasteners that I remove no matter how careful I am. Now I don’t care. These replacement fasteners are great. The accompanying tools are a nice bonus. Highly recommend.

I used these to replace some pins that had broken, I also found these hold better than the original ones that came in the truck. They include a wide variety of pins for various uses.

My partner bought this and he uses it for our vehicles and has been a life saver in some situations! He says “it does what it needs to do” and when I asked if it was easy to use he said “if you can’t use it you don’t need to be working on a car”. Hope this helps!

Dealership wanted $180 for an hour of labor to diagnose my ABS light, which involves them plugging a similar tool into the OBD port. For $80 less you can do it yourself with this, and have it around for future issues. Told me exactly what I needed to replace (wheel speed sensor).

There’s a great variety of sizes and styles of retainers in this kit. I needed two Christmas tree style for our car where we had lost two retainers. They fit perfectly. Then I had four screw holes that I wanted to cap off in another application. Sure is nice when you need something like this and you have it.

Got a 2007 Saturn vue with a small head gasket leak. Noticed little milky color in my oil and seen my coolant was like 8-10 FO lite. So I knew the head gasket had a small crack in it. Seen Chris fix review on this so trying it out. My leak it small so we will see how good it works. Will update if the engine blows or something different happens, but if it stays the same and runs fine, this will be my review.

I needed something to keep the insulation on my 2015 subaru forrester hood , which the body shop didn’t put all the clips back. But I could have used some with wider washer type holders. Not hard to install … look at the hole to be installed and check with some of the clips if it fits> easy peasy.

It is a decent product i bought it because i do automotive body work for work and metal ones tend to scratch the paint when trying to align fenders or pop panels out of doors. I wish they where a little more sturdier but for the price i cant complain i do recommend

Tools worked ok but they could be a little stiffer

Inexpensive, decent quality. Used to remove mirror caps and succeeded.

I like the fit of the kf94 masks and this N95 is made the same way. As others have said, it is very small. Most masks are too big for my face and kid’s sizes are just a bit too small. This fits very snug on my face. It tends to dig into my cheeks, but after wearing for a while, it gets softer. It seems to have the N95 protection. This is appropriate for a woman with a small face or an older child.
Darron –
It has a good assortment of fasteners. Could not find it anywhere local and cheaper.

IT’s overall a very nice kit got more clips then I need and there better quality then the dealership clips they give you

I bought these masks when ill with Covid, when I couldn’t find any black N95 masks in local stores. They are a bit difficult to put on, mostly because they are folded in the package, which most are. But, they don’t leak air, are lightweight, and as comfortable as N95 masks typically are.

Excellent choice to fix those loose body parts

It was definitely a good buy, my Subaru and Honda are looking much better now; but the sad part is that I didn’t receive any removal tools.

This is a great product with a great selection of retainers I’m very satisfied I keep sharing them with my family. We all have different cars and they fit.Great product

Mask is too small for average adults. Would be fine for youth. Otherwise seems like a good mask.
