Tigi Bed Head Recovery Conditioner, 25.36 Fluid Ounce

I have thick hair and have always had to use conditioner after shampoo if I wanted to be able to get a brush through my hair. It’s gotten better as I’ve cut my hair shorter, but without conditioner my hair has no shine or luster. And so it’s been for 35ish years – whether I use cheap shampoo (Pantene, Herbal Essences, Aussie) or salon brands (Redkin, Biolage, Matrix). I’ve chosen to stick predominantly with cheap shampoos – if I’m going to get results so similar the gal who has cut my hair for about six years can’t tell which one I’m using, why shell out the extra funds?Enter Bed Head. Ok – well, not all Bed Head – some haven’t played well with my hair. (Short, color treated over graying, from stick straight my entire life to curly/frizzy over the last two or so years. I also use quite a bit of product to get some big time volume in my long-spiky-ish hair.) This Urban Antidotes Recovery 2 Shampoo and Conditioner? This totally rocks!No residue. Leaves my hair soft and shiny, but not “too” soft – it has body. It’s easy to brush. I like running my hands through it (until I add all the product.) It smells pretty good. I no longer use a curling iron, but I like that it protects against thermal damage and split ends.If I love it so much, why only 4 stars instead of 5? There is no pump. Few things irritate me more than sellers misrepresenting their products. I will continue to use this shampoo, but I won’t buy it from this seller again. The “free shipping” and the speed at which this conditioner arrived is nice. I always struggle with whether to deduct stars – or how many – if the seller screws up, versus the actual product. It isn’t fair to ding the product for a seller’s mistake – but all they need to do was put a photo of the actual bottle they are selling on there, and not make it appear to buyers that they would get more for their money.

I have used this conditioner for ~5 years and like the performance and the scent. However, this bottle is completely different. I agree with a previous reviewer that it is no longer yellow/creamy and is thinner and blue-tinted and doesn’t smell good. Further, I’ve been using a third-party pump attachment (I replace the cap with it), which now no longer fits! The opening is narrower and the cap smaller. I had to transfer the contents to the old bottle to make it work.I will be looking for a replacement for this conditioner.

Smells good. Makes your hair smooth and shiny. I use it on my daughters hair too. It’s easy on the hair, even if it’s thin or thick like mine and gets knotty.

There was a fair amount of conditioner that leaked from the bottle prior to my receiving it. I sure wish they would seal the bottle tighter so the lid doesn’t pop open. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, either. I guess I’ll have to pay attention to which sellers package my favorite conditioner better and order exclusively from them.
