When I recieved this in the mail I was shocked to see how tiny the bottle was. However, a little bit of product goes a very long way on my fine hair. As a busy mom, I need to not be washing and blow drying every day. It has fragrance that I would describe as pleasant, a spicy floral, rather high end. My hair is dark but it does not leave it looking white or too dusty. The best part is that it absorbs the extra oil but also gives hair nice volume and body, best described as “grab.” I catch myself using it to keep updos in place and a ponytail will stay put all day with this stuff. Works extremely well, just very expensive for the amount received!Update on 1/11/15:I think this product truly excels under the following conditions:1. Apply the night before to all the necessary areas. Work it in with your fingertips like you are shampooing. Don’t brush.2. Sleep on it. When you get up in the morning you will notice less white in your hair, but it will still be present.3. Using the densest boar bristle brush that will work for your hair, brush vigorously, section by section, starting at the scalp. Continue brushing till all the white is gone. Turn your head upside down and brush too.4. Flip your hair back and run your fingers through it. 5 minute supermodel hair voila!One thought: I think some times the over-application issue is due to the design of the bottle. I discovered at the end of the product you can pry the “plug” with the hole in it out to get to the last bit. I am going to try using a blush brush to apply it lightly for those days when I forget to do it the night before.

I have a lot of hair that is very fine. I style it often and wash it maybe once or twice a week.I usually use the “not your mothers” dry shampoo, but my friend recommended this to me so I’d give it a try, but am ultimately returning.Pros:- a little goes a long way- no scent- excellent drying powerCons:- LOTS of product buildup, couldn’t run a brush through my hair without tugging on my roots.- took forever to wash out- over-dried my hair and made it impossible to style the next dayHow I used it:Sectioned my 3-day old hair and very lightly tapped products near the roots. Then used my fingers and a brush to distribute before going to bed.Woke up the next day and I had MAJOR bed head. Like… Rom-Com Hangover type bed head. It over dried my greasy strands and definitely added volume…. In a bad way. Tried to brush it out and use a flat iron to fix the crimps (slept with hair in a loose braid), but there was so much product buildup I could smell my hair burning.Tried it again on day two hair in the morning (instead of sleeping with it in), and the same happened: lots of volume, but it was very stiff and ruined the waves I spent 30 minutes styling. Couldn’t run my fingers through my hair. Washed my hair at night and it took forever to get all the product out.I let my hair air-dry to give it a break, and my strands were so dry afterwards.I don’t recommend this product if you have lots of fine hair— the product buildup is too much.Im sure it’ll work nicely on thick hair that gets greasy fast.Returned.

I love this dry shampoo! I’ve tried others, but nothing works as well on my hair. My hair looks clean, smells good and has volume! It’s worth the money.

This is the perfect solution for when it dries and I need a little more volume. Saves me from having to bring a big noisy aerosol bottle of dry shampoo to work. I have medium/dark brown hair and this does not leave a white residue and adds just enough texture without being sticky or crunchy like the sprays can be. Light cleans smell is also nice. It is a smaller bottle but a little goes a long way and can see this lasting a year or close to it. I would for sure purchase this product again!

I got this mainly as an alternative to the aerosol dry shampoo to take traveling. However I like it more than any other spray on dry shampoo and they are now collecting dust as I reach for this every day

One bottle will last you a very long time. And if you can get a hold of a dry shampoo powder spray bottle, look for one listed as a PET bottle. I was able to sour one from my hairdresser and it works great for this product, and I do t waste any of the powder as it goes into the small bottle perfectly from the small opening at the top, and with a few taps , I can fit a lot of the powder into the spray PET bottle, (there are several on Amazon, which appear to have the same type of strange staggered apparatus that draws the powder up to the nozzle and sprays the powder out into a puff of finely distributed even cloud near the scalp, as one might see when using loose facial powder with a large hand held powder puff, or all-over hair spray)This product has a nice scent, that I would circle as floral, without being the dominant note, and is easily covered by any scented product that you to mask and layer over it. And it is easily blended with all of the major market brands of dry keratin colored fiber building powders, to give them a bit of a boost, and a lot more $ per ounce. Since they can get a bit pricey per month. I have tried adding this product directly to my Keratin fibers container, and it works fine. Your results may vary. Either way, I would use this product first, and then then add the colored fibers afterwards. Then use a bit of a finishing oil, as the dry shampoo tends to leave the hair looking slightly, well, dry.My choice is either a pump of Bumble and Bumble Save The Daytime Protective Repair Fluid, if you like a more sandlewood scent, Ref of Sweden REF Wonderoil (be very careful using this as too much goes a LONG way, but it’s amazing), or Pravana Hydra pearl oil.I also use Davines dry shampoos as a final step because I love the smells of the vanilla ( body setting) & grapefruit (volume). As someone with very thin hair, it’s taken me years to get people too see me, and not my very thin hairline. I attribute this success to the magic and illusion that these products have helped me achieve, and pret-a-powder is a big one in the process.

This is the best dry shampoo I have ever used. I have bought three bottles and they last so long – at least 7 or 8 months compared to just a few uses for most aerosolized dry shampoos. Makes my hair feel actually clean and gives great volume, scent is fairly light and not too overpowering

I have used spray dry shampoo in the past. I find this amazing. It does a great job and doesn’t take a lot of product to work. Highly recommend

I’m happy with the way the job ended, but let me tell you the negative points first. I’m cutting one star because my kit came without lubricant which is illustrated on this pages instructions and is listed as part of the included instructions. Fortunately I had some Chemplex 710 silicone compound on hand which matches the specks of plumber’s grease of -40 to 400F. Knowing what I know now, I would never replace this valve without lubricant. My second issues was that after searching through my 100 plus Allen wrenches I couldn’t find the right one to get the shower handle bolt loose. I was able to get it out with a torx #10 (not a torx bolt), so why not include the correct wrench since you know the handle has to come off in order to pull the valve.You can find silicone faucet grease on Amazon for $4.48 and if you buy a replacement (116653) handle adapter by Tearel for $8.99 they will throw in a $1.00 Allen wrench (Moen doesn’t do it) so you can get the job done. So now you’ve added an additional $13.87 to this kit’s $26.01 when it was completely unnecessary causing potential customers to get frustrated or quit and never come back.In my case one of what is called a “cartridge oval” tore and wedged sideways in the valve, making it absolutely impossible to get the valve cartridge out without the puller. The manufacturer overlooked having you clean the brass barrel of the valve. Mine had rubber build up from the cartridge oval that needed to be cleaned out. I used some super fine sandpaper on the end of my finger. They included two extra cartridge ovals and two extra retaining clips (but no grease or Allen wrench, go figure).My valve is working perfectly now with no leaks as some complain and a few bumps in the road as mentioned above but very happy. My recommendation would be, don’t wait until it gets jammed again but put it on the calendar to pull and lub every year to get perfect service, extend the life of this kit and avoid hundreds in plumbing fees. It’ll take you ten minutes instead of the two hours I spent.

Our bathtub shower cartridge got bad and started leaking. It may be about ten years old as we are not the original owners of the house, otherwise we could have got a free replacement from MOEN. I opted to try the market item as a replacement because of the price. Product reviews were mixed, however I decided to go with this model. The replacement part I got had the tool and also information on how to change it. Though it was detailed with lots of pictures, I was confused and overwhelmed. Then I watched some of the YouTube videos that clarified well, and I was able to change the valve cartridge without any issue (tool not used) and the leakage stopped. There was no need to use any of the additional items like O ring, plastic sidings and the clip that may help in case it starts dripping again. Since the part is not from MOEN, I am skeptical how long it will last. Overall, it went on well, easier than I expected. I am happy with the part, hopefully it will last for a few years.

I have light brown to blonde hair and this is the 2nd bottle of this dry shampoo that I have purchased. I love the smell and the effectiveness of the dry shampoo. My hair looks and feels so clean when using this product.

I had to extract a generic cartridge from Home Depot that was leaking, and would not budge. I ordered this before letting my plumber charge me $700 to cut drywall and do major repairs. The kit came, the extraction was easy and straightforward, and the replacement cartridge went in flawlessly with no more leaks. When my plumber came to follow up, he was stoked with the puller.

Great product. For anyone with fine and/or oily hair this product is like a miracle. I use it every day and now my hair actually feels thicker.
