I would say that robotic vacuum cleaners are still in their infancy. We are still far from replacing the attention and skill of cleaning done by a human.Nonetheless, humans have a certain degree of laziness where machines like robotic vacuum cleaners can play a part in removing some of the less desirable chores. There are more expensive models and less expensive ones which have their own varying degrees of advantages and disadvantages, whether they have mapping technology or not.I chose this model from the research and reviews I have found. I usually wait to use a product enough times before writing a review. My condo is relatively clean – so all I have to do is more of a maintenance rather than a cleaning. My cleaning time is short usually. Overall 30-45 min for dusting counters, tables etc and floor cleaning and mopping.I have a minimal set up to do – For example: chairs on the table, no clutter of wires on the floor, a small low pile carpeted area to be vacuumed with mostly bare floors. For my part, being able to go out and come back with having just to wash (mop) the floor is kind of convenient. Of course I can dry mop the floor and vacuum the carpet area in minutes where a robotic vacuum will take more than an hour to do most of the area. The photos I have included show the machine’s dust receptacle. Even if I keep my place regularly cleaned we can see it has picked up an amount of dirt. The filters also show the work it has done.I have used the robot a few times already and have spent a few of those times following it from beginning to end.PROS:- Overall it does seem to cover most of the area and it picks up dirt in a dwelling that looks clean already- Navigates to all rooms- Compact size allows to access areas where many bigger models can’t- Nice and quiet device. Low noise emitted- Good battery life for size of dwelling- Manages to find its home base even if it is in the furthest room of my dwelling- Company has introduced replacement for used up rechargeable batteryCONS:- It hits areas 3,4 and even 5 times while it completely misses certain spots. This, even as it is going towards an open section that looks exactly like another part of the room/wall and then suddenly changes direction midway to miss the mark- Can twirl around in one section as if its caught in a box. It manages to leave the section but much time and battery wasted- Spinnig brushes can send dirt flying instead of caching it- Bumps into dark colour items. I have free standing frames on some of that dark colored furniture which I have to constantly check or remove if I’m not supervising the machine- FILTERS: This is a big issue for me. I havent decided if I will keep or return this unit yet but It will be one of the reasons.**I would like to add that this filter issue also is directed at all the other companies selling robotic cleaners which have similar disposable filter systems. In this world of waste and disposable products I am in total disagreement of having to replace and buying filters after two months. The technology exists to have fully washable filters systems – without costing an arm and a leg . If you want to include a whashable HEPA filter it can be done and would only need replacement after one year if not longer depending on the heavy or moderate usage they go through. This unit has a three prong filtering system: A “short use” delicate paper filter, a rather skimpy sponge component and a third fully washable screen which is the only part I like. Some good, some ok and some misses for robotic cleaners is how I would rate todays machines,Cheers

The media could not be loaded.  “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”-Leonardo Devinci [Just like EUFY]It is now the nearly the end of 2020 and still going STRONG, SMART. SLEEK– no need to replace battery, yet especially with the rare on/off switch on the bottom side. Also, with the tempered glass top still no scratches (all pictures updated). Looks and performs as amazing as the day it arrived for a solid 100 minutes! My favorite robotic vacuum of all time Highly recommended!★★★★ Quality★★★★ Price★★★★ Shipping★★★★ Description★★★★ Smart Features★★★★ Durability/Best in the industry★★★★ Home Docking/Recharging★★★★ Cleaning&Sensors EXCELLENT★★★★ Longevity (a forever robotic vacuum)★★★★ Gets under everything! Dust Bunny 🐰 Free Hone!.Original ReviewTo set your expectation consider yourself LUCKY to have found this Eufy even though it is not APP operated, YET still out preforms all competition and has built on remote holder for scheduling with excellent client support to help replace also just press button for maximum cleaning on unit.Eufy is made by Anker ( approved) an incredible technology company that offer such inexpensive and extraordinary innovative power that you can find their products on the  Apple site and all of my experiences have been nothing, but amazing with Anker so when I realized Eufy was an Anker product I knew I scored big time.IF I had only known what I do now “SIMPLER and SLIMMER is ALWAYS BETTER” after 7 ULTRA SMART and FRUSTRATING Robotic Vacuums which only makes me appreciate this Eufy even more. Firstly… Could’ve saved a fortune! Something you have to learn the hard way. Save this link if you think otherwise because you WILL BE BACK.THE ‘Eufy’ EXPERIENCE:• Add to your Cart and Stalk I randomly found for $149 on lightening deal ⚡️and would’ve bought 2 white (hard to find) if I’d known it’d be this perfect (will update— always do if there any surprises and adjust Star Rating/Review).• Arrives quickly and I was certain it’d be another return and so far it has been the best out of 7 Robotic Vacuums in 3 Years thus far.• The 1st charge (extremely important to NOT turn-on without fully charging) is unbelievably FAST for a Robotic Vacuum. I actually received it before heading to the airport and could not believe I was able to test it fully changed before I was out the door in a rush!• I really appreciate that this is a FOREVER vacuum, unlike competitors Eufy by Anker this is the perfect option you can keep forever because they offer a replacement battery for $22 PRIME and an ON/OFF switch underneath I have never seen ever (to conserve battery life). I much rather pay $22 PRIME than be FORCED to buy a whole new vacuum which is extremely common in the robotic vacuum industry. Electronic products are made this way and die around the end of the warranty IF lucky and not 3 months (I’ve been through this 3 times) and force you to buy an entire new unit when you just pop a new battery in. Have fun with that if you skip. You will be back!• The batter offer replacement is way better than spending another $500 on avg. and it is designed in a way you just pop to in. So crazy and wasteful the robotic vacuum industry can is. Super impressed.• Eufy runs for 100 minutes of cleaning time when the Ultra Smart Vac’s need a full 12-24 hour charge before a test/cleaning and an industry standard of 30-40 minutes of cleaning time.• Eufy is THE ONLY ROBOTIC VACUUM TO ALWAYS FIND ITS WAY HOME TO DOCK AND RECHARGE— EVERY SINGLE TIME! Mind blown! I’ve only had one of many vacuums actually find it’s way back and dock a total of 3 times. They ALWAYS claim it goes to it’s Home/Charging Dock, yet never do! I simply cannot believe it!• It has a clever On/Off underneath which will help conserve your vacuums longevity if you do so choose. Something I have never seen and would’ve not appreciated until now after all the expensive duds.• In the video it sounds loud, yet not at all as loud as my other’s. It sounds like a blade less Dyson Fan if you are familiar. i.e Smooth Air Blowing• The accessories like extra filter, sweepers (the highest quality I have ever seen as they tend to arrive bent), comb with cutting tool (should be used everyday you run it and is extremely common with all Vacuums as of yet), etc.• Easy manuals no weird or bad grammar to scare you off that is all too common now.• The sensor is as common as all it will bump things just like a very expensive Vac and is very alert to People and Animals. (Updated has better sensory than any of my other 7 adventures, yeah still bumps but now notice not nearly as much as all other brands).• I am so used to Vacuums never ever finding their way “Home”, so why set a cleaning schedule. Pointless. Eufy you can confidently.• The simplest way to ensure it always finds its way home is to make sure all cables/wires are not on the floor which is common knowledge to Robotic Vacuum owners. No, it won’t destroy cables it will simply shut off and need to be manually docked otherwise your set for a cleaning schedule.• Far too many Smart Vacuums are just too thick to clean under platform beds and furniture and if they cannot fit under I am just not interested. Why have one if it’s not going to do “Spring Cleaning” everyday and keep your home fresh, dust mite and dust bunny 🐰 free? It’s by far one of the most desired features speaking for myself.• My most preferred Vacuum’s have been By Eco Vac’s DeeBot Pro’s (owned 3) most are slim enough to get under most everything and they mop (I don’t like my area rugs mopped so, only tired that once) they have several issues, but have been the Top for me since Eufy which I highly prefer to my Eco Vac M83 PRO that I will be giving away if Eufy keeps up being superior.• Area Rugs… Eufy is highly intelligent when it comes to area rugs from thick to thin (also carpet). My once preferred Vac was okay, but would always have a the toughest time on thin rugs by flipping them and dragging them, also trying to climb her high sheep pelts and getting stuck. Eufy is super smart with its sensor to stay away from fluffy pelts (those are dry clean and sheep pelt brush) AND thin and high pile rugs Eufy has ZERO ISSUE when cleaning. Just AMAZING.• Also, excellent for finding a diamond earring you dropped etc., yes, I absolutely use it to FIND Small Impossible things without damaging!• I feel this covers all the major bases and is an excellent Vacuum I have waited several years for. Simple, slim, intelligent, and still cannot believe it runs over an hour and always always finds its way home to reboot and APPS have no become way overrated and a pain in the butt!Eufy Compared To Ultra Smart $$$$ Vacs:• I have owned 7 Smart Robotic Vacuums; the highest priced being the “Ultra Smart” Neato (returned after nearly a month of nonsense) with Home Mapping Technology at $1K. Sorry, the bigger, thicker, wider, and SMARTER it claims to be in my experience the more dumb it is. It becomes more of a chore meaning you have to reset the map every single time you move something and they are so thick they can cannot get all the dust and debris under furniture like Eufy does effortlessly.• Eufy cleans for 100 mins & always and I mean always finds its way home (something I was always promised, but they never returned even when commanded) so you can truly set a cleaning schedule!• While most all Smart Vac’s claim to dock and charge on their yet ALWAYS alert you over and over that they are stuck or have to be searched for with app, yet, Eufy is always obedient and doesn’t even need that function!I have only seen Eco Vacs find its way home 2x in 3 years now after 3 models (of that brand), Neato never, Dyson Eye never ever again!• It is proven that Vacuums that run in straight carpet lines are less efficient at cleaning. Hard to believe, but random has proven to out clean the $1,000 USD Plus Vacs.• If I had known it’d always do a no nonsense cleaning without me having to follow it I would’ve withdrew doubt and ordered 2 at $143.• Eufy keeps it Simple, Sleek, Very Slim (gets under virtually EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you can imagine compared to Neato and other very high priced Robo Vacuums that cannot even get under a platform bed and other low profile furniture meaning dust will continue to pile up).One Con (maybe I missed it) no phone app to control while away. If so DO NOT LOSE THE REMOTE. I may be wrong. I am writing a review after a 3 day trip that I set a cleaning schedule toVERY IMPRESSIVELY FIND EUFY Nearly FULL BIN Scheduled to clean once a day while away FOR 3 DAYS (house is always clean) and sitting at its docking station. An Easy 5-Stars Buy Eufy and forget the hype over these Ultra “Dumb” expensive Vacs that do Nothing, but turn you into a Vacuum Babysitter! I would seriously have to follow a $400-1k vacuum around. Yes, this is a huge deal to me after never having this experience with purchasing so many Ultra Smart crazy expensive vacuums. If you are sick of babysitting your smart cleaning devices this simple, slim, chic vacuum is the Answer!Update August 15th 2019WOW this would be 10 stars if the option was available! The sensory oddly seems to have improved.Has now problem cleaning BIG messes.Eufy has a crazy “hop” and still intelligent enough to avoid my sheep rugs that insanely fluffy and vacuuming is forbidden for care. Perfect. It does not flip, move around very thin rugs, or get stuck under them a common issue with super expensive smart Robo Vacuums! It continues to impress!I pick this Eufy over all of my ultra Smart experiences. I could careless about apps! The remote is great and if lost it automatically turns on with a press to it’s Mac suction and gets the job done better than iRobot, Neato, Dyson Eye, several ECOVACS Pro’s, etc..Save your money, time, and hassle of the Smart (dumb) options.I no longer have to follow an over-priced Robo around, get alerts it’s stuck, haven’t had to use a smart beeping tracker to track it down.It buy far has the best built-in features to schedule and forget. The only TRUE robotic vacuum you do not have to even think about turn on or schedule and forget about. The only thing it’s missing is to dump itself out!Mind blown! Finally, a Robo Vac that does exactly what you’d expect.Forget the hype or when your over all the overpriced Vac’s you WILL return or just die on you save this! Only then will you truly see the beauty of simple effective cleaning that you don’t have to babysit! Why buy a new robotic vacuum when Anker’s Eufy has an easy (not hidden) inexpensive battery? Otherwise with other brands you FORCED to buy a whole new unit! eufy RoboVac Replacement Battery Pack, Compatible with RoboVac 11S, 11S MAX, 15T, 30, 30C MAX, 15C, 15C MAX, 12, 35C Accessory Save or 1-click buy for the BEST you will find!

This is the first robotic vacuum I’ve owned, and so far, I’m thoroughly impressed with it. After reading reviews for many different brands/models, I ended up choosing the “dumber” Ankler Eufy model that just has the infrared remote since the smarter, app-controlled models only worked through a cloud app. Yuck. The remote is intuitive and has decent range and coverage, so the few times I’ve needed to manually drive the robovac have been trouble-free. I also like not having to launch an app or worry about spotty wifi/internet outages affecting my ability to control the vac. The price was also really reasonable considering the features, performance, and other positive reviews.I’ve got two large dogs, mostly hardwood upstairs, a single room with linoleum, medium pile carpet in the bedrooms, low pile carpet in the basement, and various low/medium pile rugs. This thing does well on all of them (except the shaggy bathroom mat, but that’s to be expected). It’s a total lifesaver as I was usually vacuuming daily and there was still dog hair all over the place. After an initial charge, during which time I ran the regular upright vacuum, I let it run two cleaning cycles on the first day, and each time it came back with a mostly full dust bin. I was both impressed and grossed out by all that it picked up *after* a regular vacuuming.PROS:* This thing is super quiet. I typically leave it on “Auto” mode where it only sets the vacuum to max when it thinks it needs it, and even then, it’s no louder than the tower fan I keep on at night for ambient noise. If it goes under a couch or bed, you often can’t hear it at all until it resurfaces. I scheduled it to clean at 6am, and it cleaned under my bed without waking me. Love waking up to freshly vacuumed floors.* Its edge cleaning mode is fantastic. I usually keep ceiling fans on 24/7, so any dog hair/lint on the hardwood tends to accumulate into tumbleweeds along the baseboards. If you set it to edge clean cycle, it’ll find a wall and follow it all the way around the house, room to room. Doing that every day manually was extremely tedious, and this little robot does it with aplomb. Having two side brushes is also welcome so that it cleans a path along the edge in addition to the edge itself. It also works really well around appliances (refrigerator, oven, etc) and will pull in dust/hair/crumbs from slightly underneath them.* It’s incredibly thin and can clean under all of my furniture. Under my couch, desk, entertainment center, and bed have never been cleaner as they are difficult to move to clean underneath. The wand on my upright vacuum could only partially clean under these, but this bot has no issues as long as any cables are picked up and out of the way.* Battery life is decent and within the advertised range. I’ve gotten between an hour and two hours of cleaning time, depending on how often it had to kick the vacuum to max. The stated average runtime is 100 minutes, and I’ve seen both less and more than that, so no complaints with the battery life. The battery is also easily replaceable as the lithium battery will inevitably degrade and need replacement at some point.* It has decent obstacle detection and avoidance, but still bumps into things from time to time. Most of the time, it will stop/steer clear of obstacles without physically bumping into them. However, it doesn’t seem to pick up any dark colored obstacles like my espresso coffee and end tables, black bed frame, or black refrigerator; it tends to need to bump into those before it detects their proximity. Still, it always seems to gently tap them versus ramming into them full throttle, so I haven’t noticed any dents/dings/scratches from its use. I’ve also got many large houseplants on the floor, and it cleans/navigates around their bases very well without knocking them over.* In auto mode, it seems to take the most random path it can find. e.g. it will enter a room and make one swipe before leaving and coming back later for another pass. However, this is pretty normal for robo vacs from what I’ve read (at least the ones that don’t have advanced mapping). That said, it does still provide excellent coverage over time, especially when run on schedule or twice daily. More specialized modes likes edge and spot cleaning are quite thorough, though. This isn’t going to replace your regular vacuum, but it’s not meant to. I used to run the upright vacuum daily to keep up with the dogs. Now, I can do a full vacuum once a week or so and let this little guy maintain in between, and in that, it is doing a great job.* The dust bin, pre-filter, and foam filter are all washable with water which is great. The only part that can’t be is the fine air filter. I’m not sure if the dust bin is dishwasher safe, but a quick spray from the sink sprayer is usually sufficient.CONS:Most of the “cons” are petty things, hence the 5-star review. Just figured I’d mention them to round out my experience.* The side brushes don’t appear to be incredibly resilient. After about 6 or 7 cleaning cycles, they started to curve outward against the direction of spin. I’m not sure how negatively this impacts its cleaning ability, but I figured they would last a little longer (I am still using them, and it’s still doing a good job, so I guess I’ll find out). It did come with two spares, which is nice, but I’m a little concerned about how often I might need to re-order replacements. Considering I’ve never owned a robovac before, this could just be par for the course, so I’m not going to knock any stars off the review for it at this time.* The “remove before use” sticker didn’t peel all the way off and left some ugly residue on the top (nothing a little Goo Gone can’t fix). While very sleek, it’s also a fingerprint magnet, so keep a tack cloth on hand if keeping it shiny is important to you.* It’s not a huge gripe considering I purposely chose a dumber model to avoid having to rely on an app (which does have this feature), but I wish the scheduler was a little more advanced. The scheduler on this model is about as smart as a clock radio from the days of yore, only allowing a fixed time for it to run every day. Having an option for day of the week or the option for a second schedule (e.g. run once in morning, once in evening) would be nice.* The base has a little space for the remote to sit in, but I’m unsure if the remote has to be in that or otherwise within line of sight of the vac to start it on schedule. The one time I left the remote in another room, it didn’t start on schedule the next day, though that could have been operator error on my part since that was the first day I had it. I’ve since left the remote in the caddy on the base, and it’s run on schedule since. My concern with that would be the dog deciding the remote would make a good chew toy. Directions do not mention anything along those lines and imply the remote just programs the bot to start at that time.* The base is a little light, and even against a wall, the vac would sometimes push the base to a weird angle and be unable to dock. I noticed this when I had the base in the living room on the hardwood. I’ve since moved the base to a carpeted room against a wall, and it hasn’t been an issue. So, I do wish the base were a little heavier and/or the rubber strips on the bottom had more grip.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this vacuum. It’s not the smartest model out there, but for the price, it has an excellent feature set, does a great job, and doesn’t have to connect to the cloud. A small number of other reviewers mentioned issues started cropping up 6-8 months after purchase, so time will tell whether I encounter any issues. Those reviewers also said Ankler has excellent customer service, so while that’s great, I hope I don’t have to reach out to them. So far, though, I’m highly impressed and may purchase another for downstairs so I don’t have to carry it back and forth.

I recently posted a (belated) review for the ITX Gigaybte mobo I bought, but it was mated to this 10th gen processor which is running strong!I was on the fence of going with an i9/i7 but the cost at the time didn’t really make sense as I was pleasantly surprised how well an i5 performs on the tasks that I need it to.I have a pre-built personal computer that has an 9th gen i9 and that computer that utilizes the same ITX form factor and is less stable than this one that I built; performance wise, I feel this workstation seems a little “zippier”. As “underpowered” as it would be on paper, this 10th gen i5 does a fantastic job with 2D drafting, 3D modeling (Dialux), Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Zoom/Teams, etc.

Given the price you would think it would scroll smoothly in menus but it does not. Given how long Garmin devices have been around you would think sensor integration would work smoothly as well. Instead you’ve got an over priced tiny cell phone for a lot of money. The initial pairing to my phone was buggy in that it failed and I just had to move forward with the setup then retry. Second attempt worked.Trying to do simple things like replace default data fields on a layout with something more useful results in it undoing the change you make.Things like the weather says it’s waiting for my phone to be connected while saying it is connected to my phone and interacting with it (showing notifications) also is common.Controlling your devices with it was another thing I was looking forward to. I have a Garmin Varia radar. It likes to not be able to control its setting and if I switch the light mode on the device the 1040 says “No, that’s not what you wanted.” So even Garmin to Garmin the integrations are wonky.Adding things like a heart rate monitor and power meters wants to immediately add a new data page for just that sensor and the weird enumeration of different pages (5-a, 5-b) are ONLY data about that sensor. Nothing cool like “Hey, you have the unit and power meter and now a heart rate? Let’s give you a page with all of that! Or at least these two sensors!” Nope, just a page maybe half filled with 2 or 3 readouts from that sensor that you get to remove or reconfigure later (not when you’re bored on your phone, only when the two are connected mind you.).Starting up a ride to get a warm up then starting Garmins own built in training isn’t smooth at all. You you have to end your ride, go from the home, hope that it actually will take you to the training regimen for the day and not the calendar, then you can get in to start it. This should be something you can do dead simple and from one tap without going into submenus from the home page at least. I can’t be the only rider that wants to ride a bit before they train. The 1040 from what I’ve read too was such a “redesign” that it’s not backported to the previous units like the 1030 plus. Even though it looked like font and icon sizing. Popups that take up 1/3rd of the screen like notifying you that it is sending your LiveRide or whatever it’s called is obnoxious and you need to tap to dismiss the big dumb message. The Garmin Connect app is kinda dumb too. You can’t work on data pages on your phone then sync it up with the unit. Both must be on and connected to do stuff like that. This is a programming challenge from 20 years ago.The good things are: the map looks fine? It’s easy to read. The screen isn’t too glarey in the sun but it can reflect cause it is outdoors and shiny glass. It has good battery life.I can’t say I’ve ever spent so much money on something so unimpressive that is essentially an overpriced phone from 10 years ago that has reportedly great GPS/etc. antennas and a fancy bluetooth antenna that can get the stupid Ant+ that bikes love to use that is finally being phased out to “Oh maybe bluetooth and ant+” like the Speedplay PowerLink and Polar H10.9/30/2022 UpdateWhen riding later in the day under somewhat harsh shadows the underlight is not bright enough. Around 4 or 5pm with only my own shadow cast across the screen, even with brightness turned all the way up it is hard to read.As many have said the menu system takes some “learning”. While the menus are not my favorite what is hard is that you need to go 3 or more pages deep to finally get to what you want to adjust. You then have to back out of each menu. This means you’re sometimes 5 or more pages deep while riding and have to keep pushing the back button on the screen. On screen buttons to dismiss or go back are quite finicky. You can touch it and you’ll see it register but you might not have touched it for long enough. This is super annoying when you’re riding and trying to clear the popups that take up about 1/3rd or more of the screen cause it means your hands are off the steering. In general the UI was seemingly made by angry backend engineers that want cyclists to crash. There’s no good design or user experience language. Only certain things are swipes while most is taps which isn’t that responsive. The different “profiles” (road, trainer, tour, build your own) are mildly helpful. You can’t copy a data sheet from one profile to another. There is no naming. And you can’t pair certain sensors only to a certain profile. For example, on “Road” I only care about my lights, power meter, heart rate monitor, and not my trainer. On “Trainer” I don’t want to connect to my lights, my power meter is through my trainer and not my pedals, and my heart rate monitor. The Edge just always tries to connect to everything. The most it will do is go “Oh in this profile, no lights and GPS is off or at a less precise level.” and some alerts. Two updates ago they added a second alert if you’re training in a zone and your power is outside of the zone. Originally there was one popup that said “Your power is too high” or “Your power is too low” with the range you should be in for the zone. Now you get that popup and chime then a second chime and popup that just says “Try to stay in the zone”. You can turn off all alerts for staying in your zone but not all of them. These only show up if you’re on any screen throughout the entire system besides the training data screen. So if you’re trying to quickly adjust a menu option while riding you are constantly blocked by repeated popups. Or if you want to look at a custom data screen because the training data screen has only 2 customizable data points to show you will have the bottom 1/3rd or so filled with prompts that you can not close out.The built in training plans are quite limited. There are 6. Centry, Gran Fondo, Metric Century, Race, Time Trial, and Mountain Biking. They all say they require a heart rate monitor and a power meter but at least in the Metric Century it doesn’t seem to care much about your heart rate for the training itself. It’s just “stay in a power zone”. It also doesn’t have you take the built in FTP test and does not have you take a training day to re-test. All these plans are 6 to 30 weeks so you should be re-testing your FTP in this time.Part of why I went with a garmin over a competitor was I knew it had built in training programs. But Garmin’s own site doesn’t say what all they are and neither did any reviews. They’re not that cool and nothing like “Build up your FTP” or “Increase VO2MAX”. It’s just “Do you want to ride far?”.I think there is some other training thing you can perhaps have you create, but I have not tried that yet. Although in poking around the garmin connect website it might just be a workout you create yourself which is now things like TrainingPeaks load workouts into your Garmin. Some of the health metrics are a sham. It says to get these measurements you have to have a garmin heart rate monitor for things like Lactic Threshold Test. There’s no reason for this locked in as there is nothing magical about a garmin heart rate monitor. The garmin also can not read from Apple Health, only write. So if you do outside exercise like running, weight training, or sleeping, have fun manually entering that. You can use the auto FTP but it gets a bit zealous. If you go on unscheduled rides and record it, and say you try and push yourself harder or do some sprints it will then think you have a way higher FTP than a test. It kept jumping me up 50 watts or more on my FTP and so it would have me do an hour plus ride with a bunch of sprints in there but then ended with a 20 minute sprint which I could not keep up with because my FTP isn’t as good as it thinks. Also updates seem to wildly toggle things. The first real update (when I first got it, of course it updated) a month or so after I got this it switched my FTP model from 7 zones to this other weird named one I had never heard of (there are only two FTP models you can select from). When I switched it back to 7 zones it also messed with the % of FTP in my upper zones so that the upper end of zone 6 was 2,222% of my FTP and zone 7 was 2,222% to 2,222% of my FTP. I discovered this while training one day because it expected me to ride at 4,000 watts. As of the most recent update 14.50 and iOS 16.0.2 it has lost full data connectivity unless I think I open the Garmin Connect app on my phone. It’s only been a few days. I get my text messages popping up, but things like weather and Live Connect and anything else, it just says “waiting on phone” or “waiting on data”. I’ve tried removing my phone from the Garmin and my Garmin from my phone. Rechecked all the settings in iOS and checked them off and on to see if that’ll work. But nope it just does not get full data anymore. This thing is also so bad it will break your attached devices. I noticed my Bontrager Ion 200 light kept reporting that it was 50% battery. I’d plug it in and it’d flash the red light indicating the battery was around that level only to turn green within 10 or so minutes. It turns out a Garmin Edge corrupt your light and you need to clear your lights’ connection and remove it from your Garmin to get it to accurately understand its own battery level again. Search “Bontrager Flare RT battery bug” and you’ll see this 2 year old bug is still around.Every few weeks too, while the app and the garmin connect website will show your training schedule and what you have completed, the unit will forget that you completed that training. It will then nag you incessantly that you missed a scheduled training and if you want to do it. Even when you’re in the middle of starting the correct days training. Sometimes though it doesn’t even load up the expected training. Power it off and back on and it will usually be correct then. The screen shots they show of the screen make it look super crisp. It does not look that good and the colors are not that over saturated. It’s not that high res or bold.

I’ll preface this review by saying that I am fully bought into the Garmin ecosystem, including an Epix 2 watch, various HRM straps, and a reliance on Connect for most of my performance tracking. I used am Edge 1030 Plus for a year (for both road and mountain riding) before upgrading. I was perfectly happy with the 1030, and really tried to resist the upgrade urge when this unit was released, but I gave in pretty quickly.Am I happy with my upgrade? Yes, overall, but that stems from the fact that I am a Garmin fanboy and I really wanted a few specific features that Garmin has made clear they will NOT retroactively add to older head units. I find a lot of value in the stamina data fields for long road rides (especially in the Texas heat), but I was most interested in the new UI, including the home screen and the new way that widgets are handled. I find it to be far more usable and informative than the old UI. I’m in my mid-50’s and that is why I got the 1030 Plus originally — screen real estate and readability — smaller computers are a challenge for my eyes at this point. The redesigned UI really works well for me on that front but, of course, that is purely a subjective matter — I strongly suggest you take a look at one at your LBS, or watch the excellent DC Rainmaker/GP Lama reviews to determine if you personally find the new UI appealing. On to the main gimmick of this unit — solar. Thus far, I am unimpressed, Again, this is a subjective matter in that my rides may bear no resemblance to yours. On a typical summer morning road ride of, say, 25 miles in a mix of suburban tree cover and open sky, I typically generate about 2.5 minutes worth of solar recharge. Not meaningful, for many of my most typical rides. I’ll update that if I find a material shift as I start pushing my start-times later in the fall – I imagine it will make a big difference when I ride with the sun directly overhead at noon, rather than at a morning angle. If you’re an enduro specialist living in Arizona, you might find it to be much more beneficial, but for my riding style, it is purely a nice-to-have for now. I will say that I have had zero pairing issues with it, and I did have a few with my 1030 Plus – mostly related to my SRAM eTap group set. Everything paired flawlessly out of the box for the 1040, and has been 100% stable thus far — transferring data from my 1030 Plus was also a breeze. So, I’m a compulsive upgrader and early adopter, and the improved GPS accuracy, UI, and new data fields make this worth the upgrade for me. I think, though, that for many people with a 1030 or 1030 Plus, you’d be fine (and more economically sensible than me) to skip a generation.

Clean and good performance runs a custom server perfectly. Good single core performance even when not overclocked.

I was mediocre on the unit, but then I got the car detecting radar sensor for the back. Now I don’t to commute without it.

I love this cover! I use it to prevent pine needles, cones, acorns & leaves from getting where the windshield wipers are. My driveway is nice & shady, but this is the downside of having these lovely trees overhead. Practice will make putting this on easier. The only thing I can suggest, would be to add 1-3 more magnets at the top, just to hold it in place better, while you’re putting it on.

I used these to secure the plastic panels under the hood on my 2010 Toyota Highlander. I bought the car used and the previous owner hadn’t noticed how many were missing. The agency wanted about a buck each, and the local parts houses didn’t even have them, so finding this quantity at this price was a real relief. they are the exact replacement for less than half the agency price.

We used these to replace all the broken/sticky/bent fasteners on our Lexus RX. We still have enough remaining, to use new ones every time. The included tool makes removing these a piece of cake. Love them.

I don’t use this a bunch but great to have for customer cars. It’s a nice kit and even nicer price. Highly recommend it.

We have a 2001 Toyota Corolla Sport which is showing its age. Most of the plastic retainers have become brittle and easily snap when trying to remove. Most of the retaining bolts (for splash covers and wheel well splash guards) have rusted and often brake when trying to remove. There are LOTS of fastener kits out there and they are geared for specific vehicle types. Unfortunately there is not a uniform size when it comes to individual auto manufactures. Most of the fasteners I purchased said they were for my 2001 Toyota Corolla Sport, but the sizes I got did not fit where I needed them. Some were appropriate for other areas of the car. In particular I wanted a kit with the pry bars for removing interior panels. What I found is that Toyota will list the fasteners used for each model car, and it is up to the buyer to know which fastener is needed. The kits and boxes supply the most common fasteners, but not necessarily what is needed. Buying specific fasteners at an auto shop tends to be rather expensive, but works if you only need two or three. Replacing multiple fasteners requires having a ready supply, and that means knowing which specific fasteners you need, and finding them.I am still glad I bought the kit, but I will need to search for the more specific fasteners as I need them.

Works good, not the first one snapped while I was putting them in unlike the ones I got at the auto parts store. Would recommend

These are super easy to install and you can remove them without breaking them. Not as clean looking as the factory 2005 Scion XB ones to hold the rear inside gate panel but much easier to remove to get the panel off again. These are black so don’t match the original gray ones but don’t too bad either.

Shipping these was fairly quick. I have no issues with the deliver time. Once received and upon closer inspection I realized many of these fasteners are almost or very close to the same size – let me explain. I focused on the diameters of the fasteners instead of all of it. After receipt I realized these fasteners center diameter changes however, the top of the “T” of the fasteners are all really close to the same diameters. One would think if the shaft diameter get’s larger then the top of the fastener would increase – not so. Additionally, these are made from a plastic that is somewhat brittle. I would prefer plastic that would flex and not shatter. Most of these are nearly the same length and as previously stated, nearly the same diameter at the top of the fastener. So other than the diameter of the “bolt” changing, don’t expect to use these with a softer material where a wide/large washer is required – Not with this set. I will find a use for them but will look better at the fastener sizes next time. Good Luck!

I installed these under my 2011 Chevy Camaro to fix the under bumper splash shield retainer which had lost about 8 of these over the years. They fit well, snapped in and have a nice tight feel to them where they do not feel loose. I also used them in the trunk area where again multiple ones were broken or missing. I removed the old loose ones with the tool that comes with the package, and it was so easy. For the money, it is work having these around especially if you have more than 1 car. Enjoy!

I have used the 20mm OD x 10mm ID x 14mm length pin from this kit as a replacement for Honda part no. 91505-TM8-003. It is used to secure the rear portion of the underside protective engine cover on a 2015 Honda Fit (which must be removed to change the engine oil and filter). I used one of the included removal tools to remove the factory Honda pin on one side (I had previously mangled the other pin just to remove the stupid thing). You have to be careful using the included removal tools, but I did get one of them to work by gradually inserting, prying, inserting, prying, etc. Hey, it beat using plyers like I did on the pin I mangled previously. So far, I believe this is a great value set of pins, and I believe the pins will work well if care is used in removing and installing them.

These worked out great for 2 car repair projects I had to do. Finding the original push pins fasteners elsewhere were difficult. This package provided a variety of sizing to work for different vehicle models and different areas on the same vehicle.

I recently had to remove my front grill and fenders to replace the headlight fixtures for my Honda, and unfortunately half the stock clips broke when trying to remove them. Needing to get it put back before dark, I had to go to O’reilley’s to buy clips and they only had 4 in stock at that store, so bought those and went to another O’reilley’s and also only had 4 in stock, bought those.. Each clip cost over $2. I spent over $20 w/tax for 8 clips. Was able to at least get the grill and fenders back and somewhat secured. This container of 240 clips is less than $15 with more than enough for each make of car! Once these came in the mail, I was able to replace the missing ones and these were just as good of quality as the OEM clips, probably better.

I have an aging Honda Fit and these original connectors are always getting lost left and right. I was thrilled to get this set – they pop right into the missing locations and hold everything secure again. They were incredibly simple to use. Perfect for my needs.

It appear my Lexus RX330 center splash guard came off during driving (hanging by one screw!). Had to stop to remove this. This screw kit was much cheaper than going to the dealership to buy the necessary screws to screw in my 2005 RX330. Works great
