This product is ok for styling my curls. It does have a strong scent (I think) and is a little more “sticky” than I like for creams for texture of hair(don’t get me wrong; I need something that can hold the curl but it needs to be more spreadable than sticky) It’s ok when I’m in a crunch and out of my usual curl cream, but doesn’t seem to style my hair as well as my usual cream.

This product is perfect for natural gray hair. It give body and holding power. It is easy to dry and style and does not feel gummy or sticky like gel products.

I recently cut my hair into a bixie cut. So I have very thick hair texture and lots of hair, with medium curls with waves on some parts. It tends to get frizzy during increased humid weather, so I needed something to keep my hair tamed, non sticky and not weighing it down. I purchased CHI styling cream gel by following the reviews which were mostly good.When I put on a dime size of the product on my hair, it produced a soft touch, not sticky so it allowed my hair to move around.If you are looking for gel that will mold your hair in sections then this is not the gel for you. However, I highly recommend this gel to maintain a light hold while controlling frizziness with an amazing smell and soft to the touch.

I have used this styling gel for years and it became hard to find until I discovered it here. Arrived in perfect condition. Very good for giving your hair more body between hair shampoos. I have fine hair and this works perfect – a little goes a long way!!!
