EDITED: I am giving this product 4/5 stars after further use. I feel like its name and packaging are a bit misleading/unclear about the product’s function. This product volumizes by THICKENING hair. The root lifting properties of the product are average, but it does do an excellent job of thickening hair for a full volumized look. Also, using the product will take some trial and error because spraying too much product will result in clumpy, over-styled hair; too little will result in no effect. For best results, you need to spray and work the product into the full length of the hair before drying. ORIGINAL REVIEW: For volume purposes, I consider this a mediocre product. This product works mainly by coating the hair shaft with styling ingredients that form a film on the hair. This styling product offers a great amount of shine; however, it does not provide root lift. Also, it definitely has a fairly intense product feel. When I use this product, I have to be careful about how much clay I add to sculpt my hair. The best part of this product is its iconic Biolage smell. While this product is fair, there are better volumizers available.

I can not reccomend this product enough! Seriously I was buying everything under the sun, stuff from the salon, things from Amazon, ulta, sephora, you name it. Then I came across this on deal and tried it. I noticed a difference immediately! I sprayed it in my wet hair and blowed dried and could instantly tell my hair had lift and volume. When I styled it it was even better. If your on the fence buy it! Worth ever penny.

I love this product, it’s a bit expensive, but the end result is worth it. I’m in my late 70’s, have thinning short hair. This product gives more texture and a fuller look.

I have used this product before and have been happy with it but this spray top is difficult to push. I have to use two hands which make it difficult to spray the correct angle.I don’t know if it got jammed during travel or what.Useless to me.

I use this spray when blow drying my hair and then curling it. It definitely adds volume especially when you spray it on the hair when it’s upside down. It doesn’t give any shine though and I’m skeptical about it protecting my hair from heat. It’s more like A light hair spray/texture spray. I like it for my hair though. Keeps my curls nice and bouncy too!
