I looked online for this part and found it at several locations for $150.00. Thought I would take a chance and look on here. Amazon had it for $49.00. The first two I ordered arrived broken. Amazon has been great about exchanging for a new part. The third one arrived and I had it on there in about 10 minutes. I turned the stove on and it started heating immediately. This part is work the price. Handle it cautiously as it can be broken easily. Find the video that shows you how to install it and this is an easy fix. So much cheaper and easier than calling a repairman.

I ran into an issue with my LG gas oven. The broiler function stopped working although the range and oven functions other than broiled function without issue all from the same gas line. The oven diagnostic did not register any errors. This I concluded the igniter was burned out for the broiler. On the LG website, this part costs $180+. After a quick comparison, I ordered this ignitor and YouTuber how to replace it. It arrived within 2 days. It looked different than the existing ignitor, but fit perfectly with the placement and alignment. I replaced it inside the top of the oven and slipped the cord and plug thru the rear. I took the back panel off and plugged it in. I slipped the existing igniter out. The broiler function worked immediately without issue.

I ended up just ordering the OEM part from the manufacturer after this. It worked a total of one time. The second time we turned on the oven it blew the circuit breaker and stopped working. When I went to remove it I saw it actually snapped apart and started burning on it’s second use. This isn’t just a bad product, it’s downright dangerous to use. I knew what I was getting into ordering knock off parts but I’m on a budget. I knew these could be hit or miss but I didn’t expect risking burning my home down. The OEM part works perfectly as expected. The extra cost was well worth it.The picture is the OEM on the left and the disaster of a product on the right.
