IDUN Minerals is a Swedish beauty products company that emphasizes clean ingredients and sustainability. I can never say no to a good lip gloss, so after checking out their color range, I opted for Marleen, one of the darker hues. In general, their colors would work better for people with fairer skin and lighter coloring than mine, but I like Marleen. It’s a subtle but unmistakable red that doesn’t scream RED! in your face.The key ingredients include tocopheryl acetate — vitamin E — and rubus chamaemorus oil, derived from cloudberry seeds. Never having heard of cloudberry fruit, I had to research that, and learned that the plant grows in northern climates and adds a dose of vitamin C. Anyway, the idea of coating my lips with cloudberry fruit seed oil seems downright romantic.”Highly pigmented for illusion of plump lips” — well, more pigmented than some lip glosses, but I have yet to encounter any lip gloss that I would describe as highly pigmented. The gloss also doesn’t seem to contain any lip plumping ingredients, and the IDUN Minerals website makes no plumping claims. I have been wearing the gloss on its own, and also on top of lipstick for extra shine.Although the gloss is promoted as fragrance-free, I detect a rose-like scent. Maybe that’s the cloudberries? In any case, it adds a delectable dimension to a premium gloss product.

This IDUN Minerals lip gloss in “Pink light” (labeled “Agnes”) is so pretty and one of the most comfortable formulas ever. It glides on so smoothly and isn’t sticky or tacky at all. It feels ultra hydrating to my dry lips and is also super gentle. So many glosses and lip products irritate my lips, but this feels soothing instead. This gloss doesn’t have any flavor or fragrance, and no ingredients stand out as irritants or health risks based on EWG’s rating system.I totally love this shade of pink. It’s lighter than my own pink lip color and is somewhat subdued, yet it still shows up as there’s some contrast to my natural lip color in that it’s shiny and has a hint of iridescent purple. It’s soft and feminine, and the light color accentuates my lips. The shade is surprisingly flattering even though my skin is pale with an olive hue. It’s really versatile in that it also compliments many colors in my wardrobe, including a grape purple shade nothing else looks good with. Love it. Made in Italy. 5 stars.

I was looking for iridescence and less for color and it looked like Pearl would fit the bill. It’s a bit pinker than it appeared in the product imaging, but I’m okay with it. It does also seem to moisturize my lips as well, which is no small thing during a New England winter.I was able to apply a coat to my bottom lip and then I rubbed my lips together and that seemed to do the trick-you don’t need much of this, so it should last for quite a while. The gloss does come off easily when eating or drinking, but that’s not unusual. Just be prepared to reapply often if you’re doing one or the other.I like how this gloss looks, it’s not too loud, which is how I like it. It stays on fairly well and it leaves my lips feeling moisturized. I couldn’t ask for much more as the price is reasonable too. Overall, I’m pleased with this product.

I am loving a lot of the IDUN cosmetics. It is a brand I’d never heard of before, but they have been a very nice quality so far. This lip gloss is quite a lovely shade of corral – it’s more of a hint of the color vs it being orange on my lips. For reference, I have very fair skin. It has a nice sheerness and shine, without feeling like I’m doing too much. The gloss feels soft and moisturizing on my lips.The only reason I rate this less than a 5 is because it has a bit of a scent. It reminds me of a light rose, and I find that very odd. I’m not really a fan of rose scent already, but I’m definitely not wanting my lips to smell like this. It wears off after a short while, but as I’m applying it, it just feels bothersome. At least there is no taste, just the light scent. This lip gloss isn’t the longest lasting either. It provides a nice moisture and color for a short time. I use it alone so maybe that’s why vs using it over a lipstick or higher pigmented lip color. I really like this but if they make an unscented version, I would probably try more of the colors.

This is a good gloss. The shade is light and works well with my fair skin. This feels nice going on, doesn’t seem to dry out my lips, and is a little sticky, but not to a point that it bothers me.

This transceiver module worked on the first attempt in the Arista switch where installed. Testing resulted near 40Gbps without any errors or retransmits.

I just used these to replace the gaskets that came on the Gamma2 lids and they seem to be much better. The fit is excellent, the quality appears to be great, and they appear to provide a much better seal than the gaskets that come stock on the Gamma lids. I tested to see if they are leakproof and they are.

I’m actually thinking about buying another set of burners and grate for my grill. This really extends the life of a grill as the cost is appropriate and not equal to the cost of a new grill. Very Pleased.

Finding cheap optics that actually work is not always an easy endeavor. I have purchased multiple brands of optics for multiple switches by different vendors, and even with the “secret” command to enable 3rd party transceivers, they still don’t work.Since I had a chance to test out this brand, I jumped at it and requested the 40G QSFP+ (Arista) and figured I’d give it a shot.The optic arrived very well packaged in a blister pack tucked away in a box, simple but effective. I popped it in my Arista, changed the speed to 40g on my port and boom! This was my 9th Opstran module. I have a 100gig switch that also supports lower speeds, and I put this in for connections to 40gig NICs in some of my hosts where a 3 foot DAC wouldn’t work. Great choice, reasonable price, and consistent quality from Opstran.
