I have a Whirlpool front load washer which we have had for several years and in 2018 I had to replace the OEM drain pump with a Supco LP30913 pump I bought off Amazon. A few weeks ago the washer would get to the drain stage and stop, I could unplug it and wait a little while and plug it in and it would drain. I started noticing that it would work fine if we did one load and then waited but do two loads right behind each other and it would stop at the drain stage on the next load. Finally it stopped draining altogether so I ordered this because I couldn’t find the Supco one when I checked my past orders and clicked on the picture of the Supco pump.I am very happy with the design of this one. After I removed the Supco one I compaired it to this and found the Supco motor attached to the housing by tabs that twist and lock, this one is bolted to the housing. I removed the Supco motor from housing and found the impeller shaft was bent because it had been rubbing on one side only, which cause the seal and shaft bearing to fail (the motor was full of water when I removed it to install this one which could have caused it to short out and catch fire). Also the Supco came with two wire pigtails that plugged between it and the OEM pump connector. This pump plugged ito the OEM connector without any leads!Overall I am very pleased with the quality of this pump!! It is very quiet when it drains and my wife keeps going on about how dry the clothes are when she pull them out of the washer. Which is a bonus since the dryer doesn’t have to run as long to dry our clothes which saves wear and tear on it and makes my electric bill less!!

The part arrived, packaged securely, no issues. I was able to remove the old part and put on the new one in a few minutes. This fit perfectly in place of the old pump. We have been using this for a few weeks and no issue.**NOTE: If you are getting the SUD or error codes about slow draining, check the drain hose (from bottom of tub to this pump). Mine was the original that has a ball inside to make it eco friendly. I think this causes a slow drain as I constantly had drain issues cleaning the filter, flushing hoses and replacing the pump. The manufacturer recommends a new drain hose that does not come with the ball… I think bc they know it causes issues. It’s not hard to replace so worth the effort, just get to it from the back. I still did the pump on mine to make sure, but it has been running better than it was before after doing the pump and hose.
