A hidden gem, this cologne has been my signature scent since it was released in 2003; yes, 14 years! It is my most complimented fragrance from the relatively large collection I proudly own (CDNI, la nuit, Dior Sauvage, individuel MB, GA code profumo, CH privé, Bleu de Chanel etc.). Women absolutely love this scent with the wow factor. It lasts more than 7 hours on my dry skin with great projection and sillage but look out! It is now discontinued after undergoing several reformulations. I strongly recommend getting one with a batch code that’s between 2003 and 2010. This ethereal scent is pretty similar to JPG le male but more refined in my opinion. Great vanilla-based scent. I currently own 3 vintage bottles and am still looking for more out there.

This fragrance smells strongly of acetone/hairspray, with a slight generic powdery floral smell and a barely detectable, sour, synthetic mint in the background. Kind of how I imagine an elderly woman who just walked out a hair and nail salon might smell. The faint sour mint fades quickly once it dries. At no point do I detect any of the other supposed notes. Just a harsh, acrid, chemical stench. It’s highly offensive to my nose and smells horrible from first spray, well into several hours of dry-down.This fragrance came out in 2003, but it smells more like an cheapie from the 80’s. It reminds me a lot of a roughly 12 year old bottle of British Sterling that I left in a cabinet under the bathroom sink as a child, that I found when I visited home as an adult. It seems like I got a genuine product (recent mfg. date, matching batch codes, etc.) and the fragrance is so inexpensive, I can’t imagine anyone bothering to counterfeit it. It smells like it’s expired. Maybe it was stored in high heat for a long time and turned bad, but that seems unlikely, considering its recent manufacture date. I think it’s just made with very cheap ingredients. The presentation is cheap looking. The “silver” section of the bottle is cheap plastic, which appears to be painted with matte silver spray paint. Making it appear more grey than silver. The atomizer functions poorly and tends to squirt and drip, rather than spray, if you don’t press it quickly and forcefully. Even when it sprays a mist, it’s not a very impressive distribution. When the atomizer drips and the liquid runs down the front, the grey plastic absorbs it and becomes discolored.I would not recommend this fragrance.

This is pure “barbershop” at the core…but MAN…that mint!!!Honestly…I wasn’t expecting THAT much mint…I was thinking it would be like “Eros” levels of mint where you can tell it’s there but it’s not the main character…But THIS…this frag puts mint FRONT AND CENTER!!I think that because this is the first time I’ve EVER smelled mint like this…it’s blowing me away. There is something sooooo comforting about this fragrance though…I know I have smelled it before…and on someone that I knew and held in high regard from my past. I don’t know or remember who he was/is…but I know that this fragrance-memory brings back comfort…security…and peace.Maybe it was my late Uncle Lenwood? I dunno…this fragrance is…different…way different than anything I own in my collection….but I like it!Okay…the fragrance…2 sprays to my right forearm…Initial sprays release a BLAST of lavender, lily and MINT!! I can pick up a slight hint of the Cedar as the mint settles down and dissipates leaving the lavender, vanilla and Cedar. This is a friggin AMAZING fragrance!!! Super floral-fresh at the start…then mega warm-woody in the mid.

I like the perfume, but it was opened the time I received it. I was disappointed 😞
