I used to buy bottles of foundation that cost around $35-$40 dollars. Recently my income has gone down to nil/barely eking by. I tried this product after doing research on beautypedia.com. It works nearly as good as the expensive brands. For some reason Revlon quit selling this product in stores. It was a fast moving product off the shelves, so I don’t get why company’s tend to rearrange product merchandising. Good buy

I’ve been struggling to find this foundation at the drugstores around me so it’s nice to find it here on Amazon for such an affordable price. I have combination/oily skin that is a bit sensitive and acne-prone. I don’t have active acne but I do have redness under my nose and some acne scarring that needs concealing. This foundation has great buildable coverage without looking cakey and mask-like. I prefer applying it with my trusty e.l.f. powder brush. The color “Vanilla” matches my skintone perfectly (I’m around an NC20 shade). It has a slightly dewy finish that gives my skin a nice healthy glow as the day passes. The only con is that it can settle into my pores a bit if I don’t use primer but it’s really not that noticeable.

I am 29 years old. I have combination skin, enlarged pores around nose, battle blackheads, uneven tone. I have light olive toned skin and live in an area (Georgia) known for it’s high humidity. Even with a proper diet and staying well hydrated it is very difficult for me to have mattified clear skin. This is the best store brand foundation I have ever tried. I went through countless of other foundations when it was no longer sold in stores. It blends well, covers and mattifies my pores well, and evens my skin tone. It is light on my skin which which is so important to me in this humid climate (I also prefer to have the “no makeup” makeup look) but covers well even though it’s light. It does an ok job at covering redness on nostrils ( hard place to cover anyway). I’m really glad I decided to buy this online because it’s exhausting and expensive looking for another foundation! Also I use Rimmel mattifying primer before I apply my foundation as well.

I went for this shade as it is the lightest yellow toned shade knowing it would be to dark and I was right. However mixing in a white mixer, I used a rip off version pro conceal I bought on ebay, it allows me to lighten it and make it wearable and natural. I have eczema so very dry skin as well as spot prone oily skin and the foundation smooths over the spots without picking up the dry patches. I wouldn’t say it’s entirely full coverage however I it is a high enough coverage that it covers everything. It has settled into the lines on my forehead, which happens regardless of foundation. Would highly recommend buying even if it’s too dark for you and just spend an extra couple pound and buy a white mixer to use with it.

I ordered Sept. 4th and it came from the UK to US. It arrived nicely packaged Sept. 19th. I am a huge true match lover and I saw they had this one with a pump bottle, unlike the US version. I decided to order it not knowing it came from the UK. The UK color is comparable to the same shade in the US version. The only thing that different about the UK one besides the pump is that it has a slight shimmer/glowy affect to it. When you look at the bottle you can almost see a slight gold shift. It is NOT very noticeable on the skin, other than it just makes you look like you have a healthy glow. I would not say it is very dewy, although it has a slight glow to it. I would say it has a very natural/satin finish. The formula otherwise is very similar and blend-able just like the US version. I would say this has natural medium coverage that’s buildable. It looks very natural on. I love a foundation that isn’t cakey or heavy like this. I have combo skin and it worked out ok. It didn’t make me super oily or anything. In the heat I will need to set my T-zone with a powder, for winter it will be fine without powder. I am going to order another bottle. Good seller and product. It reminds me of an old foundation Mac sold ages ago called hyper real. If you took the US version of the true match and put a dab of the magic lumi primer in it, I feel this foundation would be similar. It reminds me of the true match lumi foundation, but that one is more oily for me personally. I can’t wear the true match lumi, my T zone is too oily. I would say this foundation would work for dry, normal or combo skin. If you have really oily skin it would probably be best to set with a matte powder.

For me, this product is just average in all around. Not bad; just not great. However, the only great foundation I ever found was way back in the late 60s, that was smooth, silky, with great color and cover, lasted all day, and did not harm skin or pores. Even the very expensive luxury bands of today could not match that drug store band. I think it was Revlon, and I wish they would bring that one back.

To get something you need, in perfect condition, and totally a perfect match for my skin, is one of the wonders of modern living—for which I’m most grateful. Our mail is so good, and Amazon takes perfect advantage of it. AC
