I should have stuck with the reviews on this before purchasing. Many reviews stated they received a knockoff version while others didn’t. I ended up buying it and received the knockoff. I have an old bottle I bought at Kohl’s long ago and the differene between the real and fake (which others pointed out) is that her name is NOT in cursive. I posted pictures to show the real (her name in cursive) Vs the fake/knockoff. Clearly on the back of the box you can see the difference. I won’t be buying this here again.

I was disappointed to find it had sodium benzonate as a preservative, but I love the fragrance. I wish they wouldn’t use toxic preservatives in beauty products.

At first I thought I’d made a mistake. Lol. I went to Y tube to see the reviews and decided to try it again because a lady had bought several backups. I thought, ‘what did I miss?’ I tried again and It’s so different than what’s out there; not fruity-sweet and not like cake batter. Of all its notes what I smell strong is freesia. I wear it to smell like no one else and what I’d say a confident woman would smell like. Yes, I enjoy it now. I wear another JL fragrance that I can’t get enough of and I think that’s why I was harsh on this one. I appreciate that the scent doesn’t make me light headed! That says a lot.

I enjoy this scent so much. the website Fragrantica said “Still by Jennifer Lopez is a Floral fragrance for women. Still was launched in 2003. The nose behind this fragrance is Michel Girard. Top notes are Earl Grey Tea, White Pepper, Mandarin Orange, Apple and Rice; middle notes are Jasmine, Lily-of-the-Valley, Freesia, Honeysuckle, Orange Blossom and Rose; base notes are Pepper, Musk, Sandalwood, iris and Amber.” It’s a nice perfume for everyday and it would even be nice for evening. It’s light and cheerful to me. The scent notes I noticed the most are tea ( like a cup of sweetened Lipton tea), sweet apple with a touch of gentle sandlewood. It reminds of what I’d expect a fancy spa to smell like. It last about four hours on my skin before turning into a very light skin scent. It would honestly be appropriate for any age but especially for 20 and up. I wish I had purchased this years ago when it was less expensive. I paid $24 (Amazon.com) and that seemed like a decent price although you may be able to find it for less on fragrance net.com or in stores like Ross or Marshals. I can’t imagine anyone disliking this fragrance.I did want to add that I’ve seen sellers asking for $34 or more for this fragrance and I think that’s a bit too steep of a price. You can still find this for $20 in stores. I also try to only order from Amazon.com ,as I know they sell genuine perfumes.

I bought this with a slight concern that it wouldn’t smell like the original based on other reviews, but for 23 bucks I was willing to risk it. It is ‘still’ the same beautiful scent from my teenage years that I fell in love with and got complimented on the most. Though the ring isn’t on the top, perhaps it’s because it is not the larger 3.4 oz bottle or it could just be a redesign of the bottle. Either way, I would recommend it if you love the scent!
