Coriandre by Parfums Jean Couturier for Women 3.3 oz Parfum de Toilette Spray Refillable

Product came as promised today. I was disappointed that the larger of the two boxes was not wrapped. Apparently reused and not resealed. I’m not totally sure if the bottle was completely full. Other bottle was perfect

I have worn Coriandre for literally decades and at some point in the past 10 years or so, the formulation was changed from the original. I don’t know why perfume makers do this but alas they all seem to do so. Thus the lower rating. If you have worn this scent in the distant past, the current formulation is not the same and IMO not as enjoyable.

I don’t have any past reference of how Coriandre smelled but this Coriandre that I received is exactly how Fragrantica (a fragrance blog) describes it and doesn’t smell cheap in any way–and I’ve had my share of cheap smelling kickoff perfumes and drug store buys. I’ve also purchased expensive perfumes throughout the years. Hence, I do have drug store perfumes vs. fine perfumes experience as reference. The refillable bottle is also lovely. For what it’s worth, I wanted to share my two cents.

This is not the bottle that I ordered very disappointing. The one I ordered was more expensive than the one that I received. And it actually doesn’t smell the same.
