I could not find a tester for Demeter Vetiver at any perfume department store. So, I was happy Amazon sold this cologne at a reasonable price. But, after it arrived in a leaky, unsealed box, I tried it and found that the cologne fades immediately and does not have the staying power of Demeter Grass. Also, it has a rather nasty smell. BEWARE!! You can not return perfume to Amazon– you are stuck with it, even if it you receive a used bottle like I did!

Does NOT smell anything like vetiver, more like cheap cologne from the dollar store. Absolutely gross. I wish I could return this, seeing as it is moderately expensive. If you are looking for vetiver, I might suggest an essential oil. Anything but this!

I purchased this product a few years ago to refresh my vetiver bathmat. It WAS wonderful. Whatever this is, isn’t. I do not recommend. FInd something else, if you’re looking for vetiver.
