Black Wood is a wonderful boozy tobacco scent. Very good. Performance is average. I get 6-8 hours of longevity out of this and projection is good for the first 1 to 2 hours. Can’t hardly beat it for the price.

Everyone likes something different so I’m hesitant to recommend any cologne. In fact I’m not sure I like this one..or maybe I do…I’m not sure. It smells like black cherry pipe tobacco which I do like but not sure if I like it as a cologne. It does last a complete workday but after that it starts to fade Good sillage too. The bottle, sprayer, and packaging are all top notch. This is my third Remy Latour purchase. I do like the quality. I’ve certainly paid more and gotten less from some other boutique brands. Heck, I have some $80-$100 colognes that fade away in an hour or two. This doesn’t have that problem.My other Remy Latour purchases were Cigar and Black Oud. Both of which I wear on a regular basis.

Took me a long time to actually smell this as the bottle arrived broken. I had to buy a fragrance transfer kit (syringes, funnel, bottles, etc.) and make decants. The sprayer mechanism looks cool but is unnecessarily complicated and is a pain to work loose if the bottle is damaged. -1 star for poor bottle design.The fragrance itself, after all the work to transfer it, is just okay. Look, some fragrances are done great and are mixed smoothly. This smells cheap. It’s not terrible but also just too “loud” with a very synthetic note. If I use this at all and don’t give it away, I’ll need to layer it with something else. The ratings for this were high but I suspect most of those people have never smelled Tom Ford’s line That’s a high quality scent and once you’ve smelled that it’s hard to accept anything less. However, Ford’s fragrances are @$200+ and this is @$20 so I’d say this may be a good place for someone starting a fragrance collection to try as it’s cheap and okay for the price.

I love this cologne, I had an oil that smells similar, from the moment I smelt it I knew it was a ….HIT… I have been getting a ton of complements the days I wear Unforgivable, it has a smooth yet in its own way powerfull smell I would most definitely have to say hands down its one of my favorites in my collection, and let me tell you I have maybe around 50 different types of cologne.If you are looking for something to wear in the office, club, or just a daily cologne then this is it I can tell you women will ask you what you are wearing all day long.

Smells sweet and dark. Like brown sugar/molasses with a bit of vanilla and rum. Reminds me of “Angel” for men quite a bit. I prefer the scent of the original Cigar but it seems they have changed the formula over the last few years and it is rare to find the original formula anywhere (except in Nogales for some reason) So sad. Always looking for a good replacement for that O.G. Cigar smell.

Ok, so as the 1st reviewer in 2020 let me let you know, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. I had this cologne back in high school and it was a huge hit and after I ran out I went an explored other scents knowing I already loved this one…I have finally bought it again after about 10 yrs and its still the same breath taking scent I remember it to be. im not sure what product people had that had them saying this scent lasted 35 mins (maybe they didn’t add enough, who knows) but im not working on 7 hrs and it still smells as if I just put it on and I absolutely love that. this is a scent that could easily be someone’s signature scent. its inviting and easily top 5 scents. if you have a 1st date night coming up this for sure is one of those “I think I’ll go on a 2nd date with this person” type smells granted your not a d*ck in other areas. Get this! you won’t regret it.

I like this a little less than the original cigar, but it’s a good fill-in for mixing it up a bit. It’s just got a note that’s a tad on the sweet side for me . . . just barely. But overall good scent that I think others will like.

My husband used this cologne when we first met. Then after the honeymoon stage ended, he stopped wearing it. His scent started to irritate me, he just gets on my last nerve. He bought this in the hopes that I’ll fall back in love with him. Strange how scents can trigger happy memories. So I bought this for my side tap….. I mean the man I married 🙂 Before he comes home from work he spritz this on…. Could be for me or some side hoe 🤷🏼♀️ Either way he smells good 👍

I like this scent slightly less than the original, but my wife likes it more. My only complaint is that this arrived unsealed and the top of the bottle itself was deeply scuffed up. This was not new, despite being listed that way. Taking off one star for false advertising.
