This was a blind buy for me. I’ve always enjoyed the original Jovan Musk and so when I saw this one on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. Wow! This is a beautiful scent and I can confidently say without a doubt that this will be a staple in my perfume collection! It’s not overpowering at all. At first spray, you will smell a lite fruity and airy scent. Pomegranates, nectarines, and oranges are prominent in the top notes. After the dry down you get a very subtle musk that blends in with the top notes & the final result is a very refreshing yet elegant fragrance that is perfect for all-day wear or even a nice romantic date night. The description of this perfume says that it is sultry and seductive but I disagree with that. It’s more of an advanced romantic sent a few steps up from powdery smelling fragrances but many steps down from a heavier evening sent. For the price point, it is reasonable. This doesn’t last long on the skin, so I suggest spraying on skin and then on clothing to layer and power up the fragrance. This scent is so beautiful to me, I sprayed it on my bedroom pillows and my sofa. My husband says it it very pleasant. Try it!

This is a classic aftershave for men. Please note that I use this after I shave my head, so this review will be aimed at that.The bottle is very basic: it’s all plastic. The aftershave simply pours out; no sprayer here. The orifice reducer is of the large size, so be careful when pouring this into your hand or you’ll pour out way too much.This bottle typically lasts me a month of shaving six times a week. Again, this is head shaving, which will use about twice as much product as a face shave.So, how does it smell? I get notes of citrus, lavender, and a powdery musk. The musk isn’t a dirty or animalic scent; it’s more woodsy like a plant.The scent fades away to nothing after about 20 minutes, which is good for me because I like to apply a cologne once the aftershave fades.As for how it makes my skin feel… pretty good. I get almost no burn or stinging, and a decent moisturizing feel.Aqua Velva Musk is a nice, mature aftershave. Especially at this price. It just works.

My wife & I absolutely loved Jungle Gardenia back in the 60s & 70s when she wore it. After a few years it was no longer available. We often talked about wishing it were back. Now it is back. I don’t know if it’s being produced by the original company but it has the identical & wonderful scent we both love. I’ll be buying more.

This is what I wire in college and the next 20 years. This is the best musk cologne on the market. But it is lighter and does not last as long as it once did so many years ago. The color is also much paler. I will buy agan, but only because I love this scent.

Oil perfume does not change smell as it ages. Ease of use – cannot depress atomizer spray. I keep this in my van despite high temps which would kill most perfumes. This also lasts on me.

I love the jovan oil. You don’t need much and it stays on you. The size is small, but you don’t need much and will probably last longer than the spray colognes. This is going to be one of my favorites along with skin musk oil which lasts a long time also. All pure oil. Highly recommend
