The fragrance is incredibly nice and not at all “go around”. It’s not annoying “bloated” all over the room, but it fact came strong when near, which is incredible. The smell is super sexy and put up a very charismatic vibe for the user.

I always watch Youtube reviews on colognes before I buy since you don’t really have a way of knowing what its going to smell like. It’s a good trade-off. In department stores the selection is limited and expensive, which means not only are you going to smell like every guy out there chasing the popular brand colognes but you’re overpaying as well.I’ve had very good luck with the Armaf scents and they’re always reasonably priced, smell good and last long. I was looking for something unique that I could use for formal occasions that required a jacket, etc;. This scent Shades Wood is A1 perfect, this is not your wear to work or everyday in the grocery store kind of scent. It smells expensive and the complexities leave impressions of class and sophistication. It’s slightly sweet but not too overpowering, I’ll leave the comparisons to cheese, wood and fruit to the Youtubers but this is definitely a put on a clean shirt kind of scent. Most importantly this is a ONE SQUIRT cologne any more than that and you risk setting off the fire sprinklers. Lasts for days, still smell it plainly on shirts I wore from days ago. Shades Wood is a very nice addition to my collection, I will be repurchasing when I run out.

This is a very beautiful fragrance it is very unique and very complex it is definitely rose and oud. I have to disagree with anyone who says this smells like a new car because it doesn’t however it is a unique kind of smell that can be off putting if you don’t know what you are purchasingUpdate: i grew to hate it sorry, it smells like something my great great grandma would wear funny enough i actually caught her using it. STay away from this one

You need this if you want to have a sexy macho smell for an everyday scent. The problem with some scents in this price range is that the are too animalic or too floral or too….. Pick your “too”. Think body sprays. That is the scent of “cheap” formulated for the masses. Likewise lower costs scents tend to dry down to “something else”. This dries down to what it starts off as. The scent is bold but borderline elegant. It smells like something that should be priced at around $50 to $60 not $25. It could easily compete with some $90 fragrances in terms how well it dries down and maintains on skin.

My father is extremely masculine, so androgenous or “metro” scents are appalling to us both. Plus he doesn’t enjoy the go-to sandalwood scent in so many male-centric fragrances. I was apprehensive to get him something online and untested. But this was perfect. He loves his red wine. He loved his adventures in Brazil. The fact that I could combine excellent, unmistakeably masculine fragrance with his favorite beverages and memories was an impossible score!! And we were both surprised at the strength and longevity of the scent at the end of a long workday.
