Fig Leaf by Demeter for Women – 4 oz Cologne Spray

This is very similar to Dyptique Phylosikos, but not nearly as bright and complex. Zip on the staying power. You’re better off spraying your clothes for any lasting effect and you’ll still need to reapply several times a day. having said that, the Dypt is the same way but at maybe 6-8 times the cost of Demeter. The Demeter is a bit more soft than the Dypt and I think more wearable. A great perfume for someone like me who doesn’t like perfume especially florals, and doesn’t want to smell like laundry detergent or food. It really smells like you would if you’d been walking through fig trees- fresh, spring, plantlike. I’m on here now looking for lotions and such for layering.

great cost effective alternative to my usual laura mercier fig perfume. bottle leaks a little but i wear it everyday 🙂

Very soft fragrance, does not last long, god for the price, but if you want something fig-ish, try philosykos by diptyque or premier figuiere from l`artisan perfumeur, I was looking for a fragrance that was similar to those two, but this one is not. The fragrance is not bad at all, just try to test it first before buying.

Lovvvve this perfume. I was so sad because my usual fig scent by Pacifica got discontinued, so I’ve been looking for a replacement & this one is amazing. Demeter always nails scents down well & this one is no exception.

I’ve been searching far and wide for a replacement scent after Pacifica discontinued Mediterranean Fig. This scent is the real deal! It has that wonderful, deep warmth and delicious fig scent aroma. Very balanced. If you’re missing Mediterranean Fig, try this. I’ll try other Demeter scents in the future. Made in the USA, too!!!

I’ve been wearing this for years. I love it. You know that amazing smell that comes off of fig trees in the warm sun? Just like that. It’s so hard to find fig products that smell like actual fig leaves. They usually smell super sweet and nothing like the real thing. I hope Demeter NEVER stops making this perfume.

Have been looking for a nice fig fragrance for so long to replace a discontinued one. Finally found it.

Good substitute for Pacifica’s Mediterranean Fig. But still miss the other.

Doesn’t smell “real” to me… more of a synthetic sweet fragrance. Not unpleasant, but not truly fruity.

Last summer (late July) I went to Provence and was enchanted by the smell of fig trees filling the air anywhere I went. I wanted to find something that will remind me of that time and bring warm memories. This spray is exactly that!! I don’t know how they captured it, but the smell is exactly that of fig trees in the summer. Simply LOVIONG IT!!
