This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased the 30 oz. size. I am trying to contact Revlon directly to see if they even manufacture this product any more and in what forms. Jean Nate is mainly alcohol with citrus scents. It’s is well received by sensitive noses and men can even wear it. It’s just like some after shaves. However, the longer the screw top bottles hang around, it loses potency. I believe, in some instances, it has even been substituted by people. I won’t buy that size again. Fragrances are one of those things with no expiration date, however, you can tell once you open it just how long its been sitting in some perfume house downtown. The box has no seal or tamper proof packaging.Genuine Jean Nate is important to its users — especially people working up front and close, i.e., waitress, beauticians, care givers, medical personnel — you get it. Places where perfume is not appropriate or tolerated, Jean Nate is!!!The best way to wear it is ON CLOTHING (the splash) unless after shower and you’re going to bed. Even then lingerie retains lightness in the drawer when a quick spray hit them. I’ve tried transferring from the big bottle to a spray bottle. It quickly loses potency even more. Be sure to use BPA FREE bottle if you do.I believe the reviews are for the smaller sizes. Whoever put that $69 price tag on the powder is criminal and doesn’t know a thing about Jean Nate. It is always modestly priced no matter what.If you can find a gift set, in original packaging (splash, powder, lotion) then you’ve got the real deal and $35 was the absolute highest price for that set. The set may still be good if it hasn’t been sitting around long. That’s why I’m trying to contact REVLON.

In the very early1960s, I was “dresser” for Patrice Munsel, who starred as Anna in THE KING AND I in a summer Music Theatre production north of Chicago.This was a crazy and wonderful job experience for a young me, and Ms Munsel was elegant and as gentle as she was commanding. She always SPLASHED with Jean Nate’ and used to invite me to use her supply! (She said her husband loved it, and that it made her totally refreshed. Performing under lights is a warm job!) All this is a very long intro to the fact that I love the product and have used it all the years since that summer theatre experience! Memories for me as a now elderly lady and about the now deceased star of opera and the musical theatre so long ago. Hurray for the longevity of such a memorable product!

Honestly, I can’t believe this stuff is still around! My mom used to buy it for me when I lived under her roof (now that I think about it, she was probably just trying to cover up my gross teenagery funk). She ended up buying it for herself and hasn’t stopped, since like, the 90s. She also wears the same clothes, too. Being from Alaska, we have no style other than parkas and moon boots. This stuff was the “bee’s knees” of smells. The name itself conjures up images of a French maid playing the seduction game with the butler. Their forbidden, yet inevitable romance story utterly ending in tragedy. Or unemployment. Either way, it’s intriguing. And so is the product. It comes in a large economy size container that is sure to last a long time if appropriately applied and not bathed in. I mean, we don’t want to scare off the butler with copious amounts of the alluring scent, now do we?Fast forward to 2017: my mom was staying at my place and ran out of her bless-ed “Jean Nate” and made me order some for her. And she loves it. And I love her. She is happy. So I am happy. My favorite part about all of this is that she says it with a horribly fake French accent to make it sound more fancy than it actually is. Like when people say “Tar-jhey” for Target. So classy!

I’ve been using this product for over a year, maybe two, get it auto delivered every 2 months. The time before last I thought the product had changed, a lot less of the tea tree scent, and it didn’t seem to be very thick. The most recent bottle I got is COMPLETELY different, it’s basically just water with some kind of thickening agent – no smell, does NOT make ANY soapy bubbles, doesn’t clean, doesn’t have the tea tree smell – basically a complete waste of $15, $30 if you factor in the one from last time. I’ll be finding a different soap company.

I have very very sensitive skin, I have struggled with stinky pits and feet and as a young female that really sucks! I have chronic yeast infections/vaginosis since I was a kid.. sorry if that is TMI but if it helps another girl I’m all for that & it is safe to put it in sensitive areas of your body, there are no harmful ingredients! So… I bit the bullet and spent 15$ on this tiny bottle. It arrived 3 days ago. It barely lathers. Really have to work it in. I suggest washcloth gloves to lather it. After 3 days of using it, I placed a revolving order every 3 weeks. Just ordered another bottle. It may not work for you, but it absolutely worked for me. I feel insanely clean with this. It helps itching, burning, irritation, dry cracking skin, it’s also helping with the stinging.If your in that place where your ready to try anything, this is what I turned to. It also works.

This is a favorite fragrance of mine since the 1980s. Although, this is the first time I remember using the after bath splash. I bought this because it seems to be the only product left. I like the Cologne and powder. I don’t know if the fragrance is different or if I’ve changed. It seems to have musky after notes, after the first citrus fragrance. I don’t remember ever smelling the musky fragrance. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t always there. In the 80s I loved musk but not anymore. Maybe that’s why I didn’t notice it back then. I’m still using it, Just using less. I don’t care for the wastefulness of splashing it on so I’ve put some into a pretty spray bottle.

I just discovered an old original bottle of Jean Nate After Bath Splash. After using it I decided I would use it all the time. So I was searching for a place to purchase more. I found it here. After reading some of the reviews I was afraid I had made a mistake. I was anxious for it to arrive so I could compare the 2 “nose to nose”. The old was a little more floral and the new was a little more citrusy. But when I put the new one on I honestly couldn’t tell the difference. So I’m very happy and relieved because I put the 30 oz. bottle on Subscribe & Save!!!

Love this stuff, and so does anyone who passes by me! A little Spray of ‘Nate (or splash) will make you feel fresh a clean all day. The staying power is incredible (but not overpowering). Been using this since I was a young teen (60ish years). My big concern with buying online is getting old or expired product (that has turned), which was not the case with this purchase. There is No age limit to this fragrance. Fresh, Clean, Sparkling citrus is always a good choice! Yummy!

This is how I remember it being in the 80s. It smells so nice! It’s a refreshing citrus scent that feels nice on a hot day. Bonus is that bees and mosquitos don’t seem interested in it. My grandson says it smells nice. I wore it when I was a teenager so it’s nostalgic for me. I pour some into spray bottles for easy application and to take it with me. You get a lot in this bottle so it’s a great deal.
