I bought it just because I really like the original Cabotine de Gres*, and it was cheap enough to blind buy (I usually don’t), and I have a tiny little perfumista thing going…. so I was delighted to find that this is a wonderful daily wear and will be esp perfect for summer. First sprinkle, and it reminded me so much of J’Adore. If you like J’Adore and it works for you, think of this as the lighter, younger cousin- tres cher without being tres cher. Perfect for travel (in case you break it or lose it or leave it), too.*For those who are confused by the different Cabotines – the “de Grès” is the first of the Cabotines from the Grès house. It is truly a green fragrance, chypre/aldehydes in play. I find it’s an either love/or not fragrance. I love to wear it, but I usually reserve it for times when I don’t plan to be around those who might not. The flankers – rose, gold, aquarelle, etc. – came after the original.

I think this smells amazing. If you like the “water” type fragrances, you’ll probably like this one. Shockingly good value for the size, smell and longevity of the scent. The bottle and cap are nice. I like the Cabotine scents & so far this is my favorite.

This is my mother-in-law’s favorite perfume, however it’s extremely expensive in the department stores. How thrilled she was when she found out that she could purchase it from Amazon for a more reasonable price.She ordered three in all and is very happy with her purchase. It’s the same scent and has the same longevity as the one she normally buys in the department stores.

The scent is lovely, but it is missing the lid part. The box is came is had tester printed on it, I went back through the product description to see if I had missed it saying that it was a tester bottle, I didn’t miss it because it didn’t say it. I’m disappointed that there wasn’t a lid. Other than that I have no problems with this perfume.

So I ordered these last year and the size was wrong they were about 3 inches and not 5. I decided to order one pack to see if the issue had been corrected and to my surprise they are the correct size now! I will be ordering more as long as they deliver on the sizing for these.

This is the real deal and brought back many fond memories. The scent stays around, so for example if you missed your wrist it will be on your shirt sleeve until you wash your clothes. Smells DIVINE.

I’ve always LOVED Cabotine and the longevity of the scent, but my husband thinks it’s just “okay”. I decided to try a different Cabotine scent. While this one does smell good, I don’t like it as much as the original (green) one. I will wear it, but I probably won’t reorder. I AM going to try the Rose scent next!

Most of my flavorizer bars were rusted thru. Once I got them out (or what was left) I cleaned out the mess and just popped the new bars into place. They seem to be very sturdy and were much less expensive than the bars on the Weber website.
